On June 17th 2015 we completed a repair to the vehicle as instructed by the owner. We quoted a price to the owner for a remanufactured cylinder head. The owner opted to provide us with a used cylinder head that he would purchase elsewhere.

clearly stated on our repair orders we do not provide any type of warranty on parts not purchased in house. Approx 5.5 months after the repair was made the owner notified us he had an issue.
Its our position that the socket that was found in the cylinder head was most likely left inside the head when it was removed from a core engine and sold to the vehicle owner by another company. All we did with the cylinder head was then install it.
No warranty or reimbursement will be considered for this issue as the customer provided his own cylinder head. Any issues with the function of the head should be taken up with whomever he purchased it from.
