Purchased an expensive telescope from OPT that was damaged and had operational defects Also several parts were missing Notified the retailer promptly, showed them the damage and requested a refund They deferred me to the manufacturer who bounced me back to OPT Next, OPT wanted me to test the telescope, then negotiate an adjusted sell price, or do a refund, if we couldn’t settle I complied with their procedure Exactly as they specified, after testing the scope and noting additional defects, I attempted email and phone contact with OPT to negotiate the disposition of the scope OPT ignored me for days When I finally made contact, OPT refused any assistance at all
