If you are looking help with finding a place to live I strongly urge you to find someone else to help you with thatI was working with an employee of State Street Property Management, [redacted] to be exact, in helping me find a place to rent in Southern Florida because I currently was living in IowaThis woman had me send to her half of the security deposit and sign a lease for a unit she made me believe I was approved forTwo days before I was scheduled to move across the US with my two small boys she text me and told me I had not been approved for said unit! I had to be out of my apartment where I was living because it had been rented out to someone elseMoving truck as well as movers were still sceduled to come as wellI called and cancelled the truck, but still charged the deposit fee, I was out of a place to live as well because [redacted] text me Two days before the move that I wasn't approved when the whole month I was dealing w this woman that I was on a time schedule and things needed to move quickly Had I known I wasn't going to get said unit I could have stayed where I was until I found a different place and I could have stayed working at my job until I had another move date [redacted] messed up a lot for me and my two small boys and cost me time and money that a single mom cannot affordWhen I requested she return my money order for the security deposit I had paid it took over a week of calling, texting, and emails that she wouldn't reply back toI also left voicemails and texts fir her broker [redacted] , who wouldn't return calls or answer his phone eitherI finally got my money order for the security deposit returned back to me after over a week of calls, texts, emails, and my new real estate agent calling them as wellState Street Property Management is the most unprofessional business I have ever dealt with
