I am rejecting this response because: At no time did anyone at this Stateamind explain that by paying full price for a detail and shrink wrap job on the boat, that I would assume the risk of a warm winter and not receive the service that I paid for(a clean boat) If that was made clear, I certainly would not have paid for the service I paid for a service I did not receive and if the warm winter caused mold and mildew in the boat, it should have been cleaned up before I picked up the boat Instead different people allowed me to pay for and pick up the boat with the shrink wrap still on, knowing that there may be mold and mildew under the shrink wrap due to the warm winter, since this must have happended to other boats that were shrink wrapped Store credit for the full amount of the detail was not offered at the time of this complaint (only a possiblitly of a discount on future service) and I was told to send an email with the picutres to the service email address, which I did After I did not receive a reply in May I left a voice message for Joel that was not returned There was no effort made to contact me (my phone number was on the invoice) after my complaint was made known.At this time I am still requesting a full refund for the detail job only, which is approximately $ Short of that I would accept store credit in writing for that full amount, if it can be used for items in the pro shop

To Whom It May Concern:Thank you for contacting me with this information. Customer service is very important to us at Stateamind.The referenced customer did reach out to us previously and stated that there was mold in the boat after winter storage, however I checked with my service team and
they were not able to retrieve any photos the customer claims to have sent to us via email For some background, it is customary to subcontract detail services to an outside company during this time of year, which is what we did with MrHawthorne’s boat. We would have then vented the boat and placed a dehumidifying product within to prevent moisture buibefore it was shrink-wrapped and stored for the winter months. The detail service refused to issue a refund because they cannot be held responsible for mold growth that occurs after the cleaning service was performed, and Stateamind did their due diligence via venting the boat and using a dehumidifying product.Due to the mild winter we had last year, it is certainly possible that moisture built up and may have contributed to mold growth. A dry or cold winter helps to eliminate any wetness inside a covered boat.I personally spoke to the customer at the time of his complaint and offered to credit the customer during his next service visit. We believe this was a sufficient gesture of good will. We cannot be held responsible for mother nature or causes beyond our control. We will still gladly honor the store credit should the customer wish to take us up on our offer.Please call me directly should there be any additional questions.Thank you,
