the dealer states that the car was brought in for separate repairswell, that's not totallty trueit was taken in both times due to the SAME engine dash light coming on. the first time they said they fixed it, they said the computer was showing the sensor was badthey replaced that for us, at no charge, but the next day after we picked it up fro the sensor, the SAME light came back on, and then they said it was the cat converterthey didn't want to work with us, I tried to call ***, the used car manager, and he NEVER returned my callI paid the 50% of the billat for the converter,which I feel they should of AT LEAst , paid for the laborwhen we picked up the car the 1st time, *** the manager of service said we had a 50/50 warranty. so they responded to you, the Revdex.com, that we have another warranty. as far as the cutomer test driving the car, yes we did, we went up the street and back. no, the light did not come on then, but less then hrs after leaving the lotIT DIDwe were told it was all safety checked, so that means they should have looked at the exhaust system and if they did, they would have seen the converter problem, right? well one would think so anyway.now today, heres another problem with them that just came upI bought the car for my brother, they dealer said they could transfer the plates for him from his truck to the carI they took a copy of his drivers liscense and saw that he lives in CUYAHOGA county in Berea ohiothey even came out and ask my brother what county was BEREA in and he told them Cuyahogathey transferred the platesI ask for the registration for that, and they said keepk all papers in car, it shows the plates going from his truck to the car. well all I saw was an odometer paper, nothing with the plate number on any of the papers, but they said that's what they werewell yesterday, my brother gets a letter from STATELINE, that says we could NOT transfer your plates because the car needs e checked in cuyahaoga county, and they sent title, registarion and a check for made out to Cuyahoga county treasurer to get plates transferred. my brother , what little time hes had the car in his possession, has been driving around with UNREGISTERED plates on his car. he can not even drive it to the e check cause he has no legal plates on it. we are going back t o stateline today and ask them if we can get a temprarg plate for days just to get him to Cuyahoga to get his plates transferredthe dealer also charged us a fee t o tranferr all of this stuff the day we bought carnow we have to pay out more money to resolve this problem. this is just sooo BAD BUSINESS. and they could care less. I am not happy with their account of their resolution comment to go to the liscense bureau to get them transferred. .right now, we have no paperwork on his plates from his truck . so we are going there today at am to see what they tell us about a temporary tag

Revdex.com:iI was told that the information was sent out on 2/Two weeks later we call and find out it is to be sent out at the end of the monthSo that means we were lied to on 2/I then contacted two local chevy dealerships and asked how they handle these submissionsBoth stated that they (*** *** *** are submitted online and take approximately day to processNow this doesn't mean that they could not have been sent in as well as Stateline did, but it should have been done in timely mannerNo further contact is needed past this point

When we sell an Warranty it is not sent to the company the next dayThey are collected and given to a repwho comes to the dealership on or about the 6th of the following month to pick them up and collect the payment for them and he sends them into the companyIf the customers has a problem
before the company receives them we can call the area repand get him to handle the problemI have again told my people in the accounting office and the finance office to make sure they know how to handle these kind of problems

I had hoped that the letter I sent yesterday made the companys position very clearI agtain invite the custoner in to look at the paper work that was signed by the buyers at time of picking up there vehicleWe titled it the way they wanted it at the rime and we have signed papers by them showing
thatIf a year later they want to change the way it is titled that is not our problemWe will not pay to have this doneThank you for your time in this matter

The county requires an E check and the state would not transfer the plate so we refunded the money and told him to go get a tempplate at the bureauI am sorry that they would not transfer the plateAs for driving around with an unregistered plate we would have gone to court if a problem had arisen, but it did not thankfully

When the customer purchased the vehicle from us it had 117,613 miles on it and it is 2006 model year. It did not have any warning lights on the dash and apparently it ran and drove good because the customer test drove it prior to purchase, otherwise I am sure the customer would not of bought it. The...

customer is correct when they said it came back twice after purchase for 2 seperate problems. I understand their frustration but unfortunately there is no way of telling when a check engine will come on. The warranty they signed for when they purchased the vehicle is a powertrain only warranty and for them to pay 75% of the parts and 75 % of the labor after a $100 deductible. The first problem was taken care of, at no cost to them, by the dealership. The second repair was split 50% with the customer and no deductible, which is better than the warranty that they signed for.  As for the conversation between the customer and the salesman, I don't know exactly what was said, but I can assure you that have talked to the salesman and appropriate actions have been taken. The customer picked up the vehicle from service on 11/19/2015 and I am sorry for the problems that they had, as we have tried to make it right. If I can be of further assistance, please let me know.

We have contacted the customer and he said that he was going to withdraw the complaint. We have come to an agreement and are waiting for him to send us an email that he is satisfied and this will close the case. As soon as we get this email we will be sending him a check.
