1. Facility Awful

- ants all over the room!

- hotel looks like for drug addicts

- room door handle very loose

- no a/c

- breakfast was stale fruit loops and old donuts that had the frosting all ewy gewy and falling off

- ugly carpet & curtains, not like advertisement

- no tub and no shower head on upper and the bathroom became flooded because there's no 3" lip in the shower, to hold the water in

- there was no pool or hot tub like the advertisement says

- there were unprofessional holes patched up all over the wall at the headboard of the bed and ceiling

2. Customer Service Awful!

- the manager there, [redacted], was very short in speech, rude and disrespectful when asked questions

- I let him know that it was my daughter's wedding and that we were VERY dis-satisfied with the conditions of the hotel and would like to request some sort of refund, that it's no where near what I was charged which was $236.50 for 2 nights. He refused and I explained that it was an awful experience and if he could please at least do a partial refund or I'll have to go to the Revdex.com and [redacted] so that people know what they're getting into before arriving there and he said "do whatever you want, I don't care. You're not getting any sort of refund or money back".

3. Request for refund of some sort of refund for the false advertising, terrible conditions and horrible old food and customer service.Desired Settlement: 1. Give them the public rating their business deserves

Thanks for letting us know.our service is what you ask at time you here we have provided excellent. also you need to address this issuewith in half hour of check-in. you have let us know this matter after you check-out. if you would let us knowby the time you check in we would have change your room. for your information our break fast donuts we orderat the [redacted] for every morning. carpet and curtains are brand new we just changed them last year.also you were in one of our ADA Room. It is all complaint by city of south Tahoe. and ADA regulation.we are sorry but we are not able to do refund back.again thank you for staying with us. and hope to see in futureManagementstateline economy inn[redacted]

Review: At the time of check in, manager stated he was oversold and wanted us to move to another hotel,"up the road". We declined; simply for the fact we had made this reservation in April. Our check in date was 7/23/16. After arguing with him for 15 min, he decided to give us the room, we rightfully reserved. Upon entering the room, we immediately took notice of how filthy and unkept this room actually was. Starting with highly stained carpets, dirty comforters on the bed, old dirty mattresses with stains. Fixtures were falling off the wall, the toilet was crooked by the base and had a ring of mold and dirt on the floor. The shower was dirty with a shower head barely hanging on the wall. The toilet was not cleaned well and all the baseboards in the bathroom area were filled with mold.The fan was in the corner of the room attached in conjunction with the fridge plug; along with other fixtures, creating a serious fire hazard. The fan was dust filled as it spun around the room. The bath towels were badly thinned and stained and falling apart with tears; not to mention there was not even a box of [redacted] in the room. We knew we would not dare stay the night in this fleabag hotel and kindly went back to the front desk to demand my 245$ dollars back! I asked the owner of this disgusting hotel to accompany me back to the room so I can point out all the issues I stated above. He refused. Apparently, he does not know the standards to which a business should be kept, let alone a hotel. We left without staying the night. Someone needs to inspect this hotel and or shut this guy down. He is a disgrace to South Lake Tahoe. I am in the process of also calling the fire department, health department and my bank to fight the 245$ charge for this appalling business. I also have photos of all the above complaints mentioned.Desired Settlement: I would like to see some sort of inspection done on this hotel, so he does not continue ripping people off, let alone all the health issues he is creating. I would also like a refund of my 245$ I spent to walk in and walk out.

so sorry to here this matter of your stay. but if you would bring this matter in same time you check in we would have change your room or money back.you bring this matter at 11:00 PM. after staying half of the day you have fined this all matters.our remodeled room you stayed in. everything in room was fine if you like I would take the pic and send you. we are not able to do any refund on the card. Thanks for staying with us. We work hard to make our guests happy and appreciate your business.
