Review: Using the services of State Wide was the worst idea , got to the shop to pick up the car find out that the car had missing motor parts which I mentioned to the owner/manager right on the spot. Agree to come the second day after the missing parts were installed. Got to the shop again paid for the labor then checked the car and noticed a Bad coolant leak (trace on the ground of coolant,) I notified the owner right there at the repair shop and he said is nothing serious just a spill went to ad more coolant to the container. I kept telling the owner that he is using the wrong coolant green color Audi is using a red coolant G-12 and he kept saying is OK. Took the car drive it less than 25 miles and coolant container was empty due to the wrong work done in the shop. Called the shop and told me to bring the car back. On the way back car was overheating stalled twice engine died on the highway. Other parts needed to be replaced due to that bad work done. I told the owner that he is not doing the work supposed. car got codes for the cam shaft timing that he replaced saying timing advanced. During the work bumper had to be removed and the airbag impact sensor was disconnected never connected back. Got an airbag warning light that the repair shop owner told me is ok if I need to pass the inspection so I requested him to do the inspection for the car. I considered this being a a safety issue that the car will not be passing inspection. Went there three days in a row to see if the car is ready paying for car service. Spent more than three hours in the shop waiting one day. Every day he said he couldn't fix the car neither do inspection because he had no time. Then he start being aggressive cursing me told me he will not do the inspection and take the car. Please dispute again the amount. I have numerous text messages to his office in which I can prove all this stated above.Desired Settlement: Refund. I had to take the car to another repair shop to have it fixed due to the inspection that would had expire. Spent additional money to fix the issue that I had already paid for to Statewide. I can provide documentation

[redacted] had his car brought to our shop. After we completed the diagnostics, He requested to bring his own parts to which we agreed because of his relationship with Patricia, and explained to him there would be no warranty on the parts, only on the labor performed. The vehicle was left hear 5 months before he brought the parts to do the repair, and storage was waived because he is a coworker of Patricia at another business, which would have been charged at 25.00/day.The customer was quoted the price and agreed in person and by phone, he also requested a NYS Inspection, which showed the air bag light on and a code for a timing sensor, which had nothing to do with the original repair. He asked if we would just turn the air bag light off, WHICH IS AGAINST MOTOR VEHICLE REGUALTIONS. We explained to the owner that he would need to go to the dealer since certain manufacturers do not release the tool to reset the sensors which would be needed to reset the computer after the repairs that were necessary to pass the emissions for NYS. Again this has nothing to do with original repair of replacing the head and all associated parts (gaskets, thermostat etc. all supplied by owner)[redacted] supplied all the parts and has not called us to say there is any problem with the car. We are a AAA approved repair shop and have been in business for over 50 years and stand by all of our work. If there is an issue with the car because of our labor then he can call us.
