Review: Statewide Paving & Concrete LLC sealcoated my driveway for $350.00 The owner [redacted] did not provide a proper written estimate and no contract was signed. [redacted] only applied 1 coat of sealcoat. When I questioned him about areas that were missed and cracks that were not filled, tar on my brand new siding and Belgium blocks, he became angry and refused to do another coat telling me it would cost me more money. In my opinion this job was no where near a sealcoating job for that price. When I asked for a receipt he scribbled out something. [redacted] demanded his money and told me he would follow me to my ATM. He became verbally abusive, arrogant, antagonistic and very nasty yelling and screaming for his cash and I was wasting his time to get to another job and to hurry up. I gave him a check for the full amount made out to his company. After taking a good look at his shoddy workmanship I put a stop on my check. Due to his unwillingness to fix the problem and his very unprofessional behavior, I contacted my local police dept. for fear of retaliation by [redacted] It was and continues to be a very unfortunate experienceDesired Settlement: I am willing to pay [redacted] $125.00 by check payable to Statewide Paving & Concrete LLC. for the work he did but not $350.00 for such a rushed job. I also want no further contact with him and will file a police report in the event of retaliation.
