Statewide Realty Reviews (1)

We closed our home located@ [redacted] May 28, 2015 and were told that repairs had been done to the home, but later found they weren't.Approx 2 weeks after being in the home, we had issues with the a/c unit. We spent $300+ to have the unit repaired. A short while later, we discovered discoloring in the floor of the kitchen, and later found that there was a plumbing leak, which has caused the floor to soften. A couple of months later, the a/c unit went out again and we called someone out who did repair it again @ $350. At which time, we were told that the duct work wasn't new as we were told at the time of closing on the house. We were told that the duct work had been replaced but that wasn't true. Around the first of this year, we noticed that in one of the bathrooms that the bathtubs and sink had began peeling. The original tub and sinks were green; evidently the home owner spray painted both of them white. Some of the vents in the home don't work at all and some of them you can barely feel air/heat coming out of them. We had [redacted] Gas Co to come out to service the gas fire logs and check the wiring for the fire place and found that the gas logs as well as the gas wiring was no good. Also, when it rains really hard, the storage room leaks. Around the attic door is cracked and looks like it's about to fall. There's also some type of sewer leak, we were told by one of the plumbers who came out. we contacted [redacted], with [redacted] regarding the a/c issues initially and she didn't our call. We called her again later when other issues arose and I even e-mailed her on all issues with the house, but she didn't respond to the list of issues. We reached out to our lawyer and she said there was nothing that could be done without us having a warranty on the house at time of purchase. Later we reached out the sellers real estate agent, [redacted] (Statewide Realty). She said for us to reach out to our agent [redacted]) and that there was nothing she could do. We purchased the home from [redacted], whom to my understands work in construction.Desired SettlementAll we want is what is fair! We would like the a/c / heating unit to be replaced and new duct work done as previously promised. We would like the plumbing and sewer issues fixed (leaks) and the floor in the kitchen repaired. Also, replacing the bathtub and sink that's peeling wouldn't be too much to ask when we've paid $118,000 on a home that we hadn't been in but a couple of weeks when some of these issues were first discovered.
