As there are always two sides to every story here is what I have found outAs of 6-we have contacted this customer and made arrangements to make necessary repairs and adjustmentsWe install over bathrooms a month and know very much about what we are doingThis customer choose the design of the productA glass door can be installed in the finished productIt appears that the design we started with and what the customer has decided they want with the finished product are the issue with the configuration of the doorMy apologizes for the confusionWe want every customer to be satisfied with the finished product and we will get this corrected on this job [redacted] VP/Partner

My apologizes for any mistakes that where madeMy understanding is we are correcting the issuesMy intention is not to banter back and forth with any customerI am not sure where the winning of a contest got in here? We stand behind our work and the customer signs off on all designs before the work beginsAgain we are willing to correct any errors in the construction of this remodel as long as it is the original contractIf it was not in writing in the original agreement how would we know what to install? We certainly make mistakes but will be the first to step forward and and admit the work we did does not match the original agreementAny time changes are made a work order change is submitted and signed off by the customer before any changes take placeI will follow up with our installation dept.Thank you [redacted]

my apologies to this customer for all the confusionThe money was sent thru the Home Depot payment system on 11-30-It will be deposited directly into the account from which it cameThe customer will need to check that source for the balanceIf they do not see it in a timely manor please

my apoligizes for the late response but as of 2-4-17' was the first I was aware of this issueI will gather all the information on Monday when our office is open I can tell you after years in business and 44,jobs completed we do not scam anyone to get workIf this is a Home Depot job
and this customer used their Home Depot credit card the charge was from Home DepotI will know for sure on Monday 2-If not and we took the customers credit card up front it would have been for a down payment not a ficticous charge as allegedIf we made the charge in error we are happy to refund their money and collect the balance on completionA simple phone call to our finance deptthe contact number is on the agreemwnt the customer signed would have gotten this resolved much quicker than resorting to filing a complaint with the Revdex.com and accusing my company and The Home Depot of scaming them *** ***VP/Partner Statewide Remodeling

I am refuting this response because: We spoke with Statewide for the final time May 19, 2015-NOT AGAIN until Friday, June 5th, we had NOT heard a thing from themI told the corporate office I would not be contacting them again regarding this matterI also informed corporate I would be filing a complaint with the Revdex.comCorporate was fully aware of my intentionsIt was their job to ensure the GM/PM on this project kept in touch with us as customersWe heard NOTHING for business days until June 5thI was left to assume nothing would be doneWe did not change anything work related, we hired them thru a Home and Garden Show at the AT&T Center and thru their salesperson to install a shower with bench and grab barObviously a scope of work, schematics, blue prints did not make there way to the actual tile layersIt is not OUR job as customers to know how to tell a SPECIALTY business how to perform their specialtyACCEPT YOUR RESPONSIBILITY AS HAVING DONE THE JOB INCORRECTLYPERFORM THE WORK YOU WERE HIRED TO PERFORMI have also attached pictures of why I am complaining, you tell me I was suppose to tell them the shower curtain/liner needed to go 100% of the way, REALLY????? We asked for a bench, had no idea it would interfere with being able to close the shower curtain or stop us from adding a door later onIf this were so, why were we NOT informed?????They made contact June 5th and spoke with my husband to arrange a time to come in and rectify errorsWe accept their coming in to reconfigure the install of the bench and other minor repairs needed.Thank you for having made contact with their officeThis bathroom was not a gift to us, we did not win it in a drawing, we are PAYING customers and should get what we are paying for

I am still refuting this response because: You continue to imply we changed the scope of work, you are INCORRECT. Your drawing shows a sketch, not actual dimensions of how everything will be positioned, it surely did not show a shower where the liner and curtain would  not close 100% nor did your drawing show a bench that would prohibit, prevent full closure. Nor did your drawing depict hanging the shower rod to high for a standard 72" liner-we had to purchase a 78" and cut it to fit, nor did it depict he would place the grab bar away from where I showed him to place. Your drawings also didnt show where you all ordered the wrong size tiles for the master bathroom, which were suppose to be 12x24, but ended up 12x12 so we had to conceed to that as well. For your mistake in ordering you tiled our powder bath free of charge. Your subcontractors had no scope of work. Nor did your drawings include the initial subs walked off the job and we had to wait for someone to complete. Your responses are very perplexing considering the truth of this project of what did and did not happen. We have accepted the offer of refixing those things needed to be a functonal bathroom again.

My apologizes for any mistakes that where made. My understanding is we are correcting the issues. My intention is not to banter back and forth with any customer. I am not sure where the winning of a contest got in here? We stand behind our work and the customer signs off on all designs before the work begins. Again we are willing to correct any errors in the construction of this remodel as long as it is the original contract. If it was not in writing in the original agreement how would we know what to install? We certainly make mistakes but will be the first to step forward and and admit the work we did does not match the original agreement.
