Statewide Restoration Reviews (%countItem)

StateWide was at our house early the next day we had a fire, about a year ago. My wife and I was so worried, not knowing what to do or where to start.
But after meeting William W, we come to realize that we will be dealing with a team of professional.
Sure enough, all our fears and worries faded away after meeting Boris, the Project manager
Who is very helpful, honest, available and full of good advices about what needed to be done or not.
That leads us to our nice, well done remodel house today.
I will not hesitate to recommend a friend or any body else to choose STATEWIDE for any type of house remodeling or works.
Thank you so much to William, Boris and the whole team to make our house look beautiful and livable again.

Some of the workers at Statewide were not very transparent. However, Boris ran point on the construction of my home and he did a good job. He was very easy to get in contact and very responsive.

From the first night, when our home was destroyed by fire, thru the design and construction of our beautiful new home, the Statewide team was there to assist, recommend, and respond. Our special thanks to Serge, the project manager, whose experience, knowledge, patience, and understanding was the friend and guiding hand we needed through it all. Thank you.

About a year ago I had a house fire. The house is still no where ready for move in. The fire was severe enough to require it be taken down to the studs and totally rebuild. There was severe smoke damage. Statewide assured me that they would seal the entire house an I would not smell smoke in the house. The first time the painter sealed the house he used the wrong water base paint, it was supposed to be shellac. He sealed it again. The house still smells like smoke. There are charred boards still in the house, bleed through of the sealer they were hoping to sheetrock before I inspected it. The plumber put a drain spout in a collapsed drain that I told them didn't work. The electrician put the breaker box in a bedroom instead of basement. They installed R15 on main floor R21 upstairs but billing for all R21. They are charging twice for the same repair that hasn't been done yet. They are charging for more steps than there actually is. When they started I told them I wanted to know what and when repairs would be done. Most times it was after they did the work. They sent me a lump sum bill stating they have completed 50% of the work. When I asked for a breakdown of what I am paying for they refused to give me the information and are threatening to file a lien and foreclose. They had a content crew remove my property for total loss and I had to go back and redo the inventory but they billed me for it. There workers even stole some of my belongings as I watched them take it to there van and then it was never back in the house. They have broken a push mower that was sitting next to my detached garage. A drain pipe is sticking out the front of my house from the furnace. They threw their dirty masks all over the place. I have until June 15th before I have to be out of the temporary housing. Hacked the back half of a bush. The workmanship is shoddy and not acceptable. The property was left unsecured in the beginning so I squatters and numerous break-ins. All they want is money

Ms. Pennington, We operate within insurance industry standards and work with homeowners, mortgage companies, and insurers using detailed undisputed scopes of work with values established by Exactimate, the insurance industry guideline. We must work within coverage amounts as allowed by the insurer, not directed by the homeowner. The outline of the contract is clear and specific in terms of payment schedule and the protections afforded in the event payments are delayed. I am happy to provide additional detail as needed. This company did work I did not sign off on, no notarization or anything. They have agreed to let me do some of my own work on my own house for any additional work done. They want me to sign that I agree to pay them $2106.72 for adding some closets in the house, one of which was already there. So they are trying to charge me for an extra closet that was in the contract to restore, they agreed to pay additional ***. but when I picked up the check William had me sign a paper, he refused to give me the check unless I signed it. It was only for 5 weeks, they are taking an extremely long time to do the work. I did sign a change order way back around March for the flooring to be changed to lvp and not carpet, since I see the light that they are acting in a devious manner and using trickery, I want to change it back to the whole house being the way it was before. I believe they will tell me that they have to put lvp in even though nothing has been laid down yet. They refuse to do anymore work on the house unless I pay them the money and they have $178,000 insurance money. Why is this? They also refuse to pay *** because I have a rider that I am allowed to pay mortgage with *** money. They have told me that the house would be ready in September, if not they would pay ***. They William agreed to pay *** if the house wouldn't be ready December 5th, that is why he deceived me by having me sign for only 5 weeks. He also said he would pay *** if not done by January. Project manager said house wouldn't be ready until March. They keep lying to me about everything and trying to charge me for work unsigned for and that I don't want done anymore.

We used statewide as an all inclusive for a fire that happened in our home about a year ago. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone seeking help in any kind of restoration. Through the process statewide were excellent advocates for us, professional and honest.
They did amazing work restoring our home, upgrades and cleaning our things! Thanks Statewide!!

Statewide did horrible work when they did work. They left all their garbage that we had to pay to clean up. They never finished the job. Im still waiting on Windows and this happened in 2016. They did shady work with poor products. They never did anything we requested. In fact we've had to pay others to do things that they said they did to the tune of $12000.00. My father died from the stress this whole situation with them has brought on him and his heart. They took advantage of him and were paid well to do it.

To whom it may concern,

Statewide completed all repairs that were contracted with Mr. ***. The client and his son ***. both signed two release forms stating that the project was completed per their satisfaction per the scope of work. In addition, a document was signed by Mr. ***. and their Mediator ***. Both of these documents were signed on June 1, 2016 and are both attached in this response. I hope this is sufficient for this claim to be denied and not show up on Statewide's record.

Please reach out to me directly on my personal phone number if there are any further questions, comments or concerns.

Sincerely,

Val K

President

Statewide did an exceptional job handling a complicated water damage claim for my parents' home, which claim I managed for my parents as they are elderly and have health issues. Statewide's Mike P quickly came out to the site and handled the estimating, and he worked well with the insurer so that everything was paid for by the insurer without a hitch. Serge S was the project manager for Statewide on the claim, and he did an excellent job accommodating my parents and my schedule during the holiday season to get the job done. All questions and issues that came up on the project were quickly resolved to my parents’ satisfaction and we could not have been more pleased with the end result. I can strongly recommend Statewide.

Thank you ***, it was a pleasure to serve you and your family.

Statewide handled my 2018 home rebuild project (fire damage) from start to finish and I could not be happier with the results. They communicated well, were very responsive, did exactly what they said they were going to do, with excellent worksmanship throughout. Top to bottom, everything they touched was done with quality. You can't say that about too many vendors or contractors. I absolutely recommend Statewide to anyone who has a rebuild project of any kind (for reference, my project was approximately a 60K rebuild project). Give them a call. They are the real deal.
