I am rejecting this response because I was charged $I received $off in exchange for my pink slip for the Ford Windstar, which was worth moreSo I was charged $storage feeAlso, the manager needs to be drug testedHe is a very violent man and was in my face screaming at me, even though I had just been released from the hospitalThe next morning when I came back, so they wouldn't take me to court that I had been threatened, he did it again, he got right in my face and screamed at me, as well as at my sonI felt he was trying to instigate a fightWe didn't even raise our voicesThe man needs serious helpThe RPD does not approve of the behavior that Stateswide Towing and Recovery's managerAlso, there would be no dispute if my son had paid the 1st day because they would have had his signatureAlso, even though they refused to give us a hard copy of their rules, the copy they have at the front does not say that a second party could not payThis is also not against RPD regulations

We are in receipt of complaint filed by *** ***We regret to hear she had a bad experienceUnfortunately, our employees are trained to follow Riverside Police department's protocol as well as company policies. We like to keep a copy of driver's license for all RPD transactions for our
recordsOur employees' are not authorized to receive payment from a third party, but the registered ownerWe have had instances in the past, were someone comes in to retrieve their vehicle, have someone else pay, and then that person disputes transaction at a later dateThis type of transactions we are not able to dispute back due to the fact that the third party does not show up in any of our paperwork causing company losses. We strive to give the best customer service to our customers, but must follow RPD's regulations and regret that we were not able to allow a third person to impound yardThe impound yard has evidence tows for California Highway Patrol and many other vehiclesConfidentiality is one of our main priorities not only for CHP evidence tows, but for the rest of the publicOur employees are instructed to only allow registered owners for this reasonOur manager offered one of our employees to assist customer, which was not accepted by Mrs***. Attached please find signed final invoice for our towing and storage servicesInvoice shows we only charged for towing and put storage fees under impound losses account for accounting purposesTotal collected from customer was in cash. Statewide Towing & Recovery takes all complaints serious as we strive to be the bestAfter further investigation on this complaint it was concluded that RPD protocol as well as company policies were followed at all times.
