Review: I registered for traffic survival school, mandated by the state, with Statewide Traffic Survival School. They made me pay up front, $130 through [redacted]. I have the receipt. They had you select the location and date on line. I did so, intentionally choosing a location near my home so I could leave at lunch time to let my dog out. The night before the class they called me to tell me they moved the location. I could NOT change the date because of state law requiring me to complete the class by a certain date. So I had no care for my dog. AND, they told me I had to bring a money order even though I already paid on line AND their website says you can bring cash. I got confused and thought I had to pay another $125 so I brought cash. The class and the instructor were the most awful experience I've ever had in my entire life. We were required to be there at a certain time; the instructor wasn't there and we stood in the ** heat. When she finally arrived, the room was locked so we waited longer. She told us we MUST be back on time from lunch/break. Lunch would be 30 min. She told us the class would end at 5 or 5:15 even thought the website said 4;30. During the session, she changed lunch to 1 hour long. She came back over THIRTY minutes late from lunch, while we all sat there waiting. At the end of the class, after I'd met ALL THE REQUIRMENTS, she wouldn't give me my certificate of completion unless I gave her the survey. The survey, from the national safety council, had a mailing address on the back to mail it to them! NOT to give it to HER! She and I (and another participant) stood there and argued over this and she absolutely refused to give us our certificate of completion. I had NO OPTION as I'd have my license suspended if I didn't have that certificate. And now, I'm petrified that she will not submit my completion to the MVD and I will have my license suspended.Desired Settlement: I expect not only for my $125 to be refunded IMMEDIATELY but also to have my original $130 refunded since had to hire a dog sitter and go to another location with NO OTHER OPTION. FIRE this awful "teacher." She MADE STUFF UP as she went. She literally gave a ton of false information to the class. If no action is taken, I will be going to MVD, the national safety council, the attorney general, and to the WORLD WIDE WEB to announce to everyone to NEVER EVER use this school.
