Statz Painting & Decorating, Inc.

Review: We entered into an agreement with Statz Painting on August 22, 2013 to paint the exterior of our home "per plans and directions". Statz was provided copies of all of the plans for the home at that time. Work progressed for a few weeks, and then stopped for winter. Work did not begin again in the spring until very recently, and Statz has still not finished the contracted work as of June 23, 2014. The work remaining to be finished includes exterior wood siding that has been left exposed and unpainted for 10 months now. It also includes work to be completed within the screened porch area.

Despite several calls to the President of Statz, as well as on-site meetings with the Vice President in April of 2013, at which time it was reiterated that all of the work described above (existing exterior siding and work to be completed within the screened porch area) and in our contract would be completed in a timely fashion, the work has not been finished, and calls and emails to Statz have recently gone entirely unreturned.Desired Settlement: We would like Statz to finish the work immediately, or refund us the payments made to date so that we can find another paint contractor to properly finish the work.
