address to [redacted]Regarding the complaint from our customer, we are disappointed that they chose to file this complaint as we are still in the process of resolving this issue with them. Our driver and out [redacted] Office manager have both been in contact with the customer and are still working on a resolution. Our customer is set up where they have to call and order fuel before we deliver to their location. We received an order from the customer to deliver unleaded gasoline to their above ground fuel tank. On October 15, 2015 our driver arrived at the customer’s location, and delivered 421.90 gallons of unleaded gasoline. The customer’s claim that the tank is locked is indeed correct, however our driver stated the lock does not prevent the cap from being removed. He was able to remove the cap and put the fuel in the tank. It was not until October 28th that the customer came into the [redacted] Office to say he did not receive the unleaded gasoline delivery. On the week of November 9th the [redacted] Office Manager met the customer at the location the unleaded gasoline was delivered and verified the tank was empty. The manager informed the customer that the driver was on vacation the week of November 9th and would have driver contact him when he returned to work. The driver met with the customer the week of November 16th to verify the tank that the unleaded gasoline was put into. While there, the driver noticed that the lock that was on the tank when he delivered was cut. The cut U-bolt part of the lock was sitting up on top off the tank.We have several different ways we can prove that we delivered to the customer. First, the GPS unit on the fuel truck clearly shows that our driver was at the customer’s location on 10/15/2015. The GPS also shows that the PTO was engaged to pump fuel from the truck and shows the duration of time that the PTO was engaged. Second, our pumps have meters on them that are used to total the gallons and are put on a driver manifest and delivery ticket. The manifest and meter reading are used to daily reconcile the fuel inventory for every one of our trucks. If we had not delivered the fuel as the customer claims, we would not have been able to reconcile the inventory on that truck for the day. There were no inventory anomalies for the fuel truck on that day.Our manager stated that the customer has admitted they had fuel stolen from their tanks in the past. Since the customer states they did not use the fuel, the only explanation we have is that the fuel was indeed stolen. Given the fact that the lock the customer had on their tank did not percent our driver from removing the cap, we believe it is likely anyone else could have taken the cap off to steal the fuel or cut the lock.We are in the process of putting all our proof together and the [redacted] office Manager will be taking this to the customer. For the record, this is not the first time that this customer has made claims against local fuel providers. In one instance they accused local fuel company of not putting fuel in their tank.We are hoping that the proof we have will show the customer that we indeed delivered the fuel. We cannot control the customer’s response but we hope to arrive at an agreeable resolution with them.Sincerely,Ed Staub & Sons Petroleum, Inc.

Review: I ordered gas from Ed Staub and Sons. They came out on October 15, 2015. I was not home at the time of the delivery. Within the hour of them leaving, I came home. I checked the tank and discovered it was empty. The delivery slip was not left on the door. They leave one the day they deliver. I drove down to their [redacted] offices that day. I was told that the driver went home and would not be back until Monday. The next week I got the bill for the gas and stapled to it was the delivery slip. The driver and the supervisor came out to the farm on different days to find the tank was empty. They suggested that someone stole it by pumping it out of the top of the tank and to call the police. I had the police come out. The officer said that a thief would break the lock on the lower valve and not expose themselves by climbing on top of the tank, especially since I live on a busy highway. I had my daughter contact the owner and talk to the supervisor but no resolution. I am now getting a bill with interest for gas that I did not receive.Desired Settlement: I would like to resolve this by Ed Staub and Sons to stop billing for the gas I did not receive.
