Stay Charlottesville

Review: I sent a formal complaint email to Stay Charlottesville, LLC on Oct. 12. On Oct. 16, I sent a followed up email asking for a response to my original email. As of Oct. 21, I have not had a response from Stay Charlottesville. The original email included pictures of the issues to verify our claims. I used Stay Charlottesville, LLC to book the [redacted] and we were completely disappointed in our accommodations. Even before we set foot into the house we noticed one of the outside lanterns had been smashed and was barely hanging on the wall. Once inside the home over the course of the first day we noticed a plethora of issues. The following lists some of the many issues we have noticed: upon entering the house a noticeable smell of mildew was apparent in the original section, a leaky roof with noticeable water damage (water was falling on us throughout dinner on our first night in the kitchen), in the middle bedroom blood stains were found on the rug, multiple light bulbs in key areas are out, the toilet in the middle bedroom is still running after an initial complaint, there is no shower curtain liner in the middle bedroom and water goes all over the floor, the local cable does not work, the bar ice maker does not work, two chandeliers are damaged, the grill is filthy and should be replaced as the area below is full of grease and rust, one of the beds is missing a pillow, the air vents in the main room are covered with dust, mold and are completely unsanitary, the trash containers outside are overflowing, and there are too many dead bugs and spiders in the house to count. There was 1 roll of paper towels that did not last through the first night we were low on toilet paper, and there was no dish detergent; all of which we had to run out to purchase more. These are only some of the issues we noticed during our short stay.Desired Settlement: The [redacted] was a disappointment and I feel misled from the Stay Charlottesville website. For what we paid to rent the home everything should have been in pristine condition.I feel the condition of the [redacted] did not justify the rental fee paid and would appreciate their response regarding these matters. Also, the fact we have not had a response from Stay Charlottesville, LLC. is completely unprofessional. Overall, the experience with this organization was a huge disappointment
