On the flyer that I received it states, "We beat any legitimate competitor's price" on the front of the brochure. After talking to a friend, she stated that I should call an alternative company as she believed it to be cheaper. When I called Stay at home monitoring the employee Jessie said that I would need to get a quote from the other company and email that quote to her. I received a quote and emailed the quote to Jessie. After speaking with a different employee today and after she reviewed the necessary quote, she said that she talked to the manager and was allowed to reduce the price to rent the hand held alcohol monitoring device by $3.00 a day not the price quoted to me which is half the daily price offered to me thru stay at home monitoring, Inc. I not only was told by Jessie that if I received a quote for a lower price that the company would honor the reduced price, but I believe their flyer to be false advertising.
Dear Revdex.com,I spoke with the company listed in my complaint. While they were unable to match or beat the competitors price as they state in their brochure, they were able to reduce the daily rental fee by $3.00 While still twice the rental fee as the quote I submitted, it seems I have no other option but to accept their price reduction. For that reason, and the hope I will not have the monitor for an extended period of time, I will drop the complaint.Sincerely
