When [redacted] mentioned to me that there was a mistake, I consulted the attorney to see what should be done. The attorney advised me to see if the tenant would be willing to meet us halfway which he wasn’t. We always deduct the amount of the cleaning, carpet cleaning and touch up painting from the non-refundable portion of $375. [redacted] did patch some of the holes in the walls but they were not textured to match the rest of the wall. I deducted the carpet cleaning, general cleaning, blinds that needed to be replaced and the texture for the walls.
