Review: I RECEIVED A BILL FROM [redacted] LOCATED AT [redacted] FOR THE AMOUNT OF $ 190.00 FOR A TEST THE DOCTOR [redacted] DID TO ME ON NOVEMBER 2014. [redacted] KNOWS THAT I HAVE [redacted] MEDICAL INSURANCE AND THE MEDICAL OFFICE USUALLY USE "[redacted]" THAT I ONLY PAY A CO-PAYMENT OF $15.00. I FAXED THE INVOICE BILL TO THE OFFICE TO SEE IF THEY CAN FIX THIS PROBLEM SINCE I NEVER HAD THIS SITUATION BEFORE. THE [redacted] MADE A MISTAKE SENT THE TEST TO THE WRONG LABORATORY. SHE WAS SUPPOSED TO CHECK FIRST WHAT KIND OF HEALTH INSURANCE I HAVE. NOW I'M RECEVING BILLS FROM THE [redacted] THAT MEANS THAT THE MEDICAL OFFICE DIDNT FIX IT. I CAN'T AFFORD TO PAY SUCH AMOUNT AND I DON'T KNOW WHY DO I HAVE TO PAY SINCE I HAVE MEDICAL INSURANCE. THE OFFICE MADE THAT MISTAKE AND I WOULD LIKE THE OFFICE TO FIX IT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. Review: Good morning:I've been covered under [redacted] for the past 20 years as a city employee. In a routine check up at my ginecologyst she did some blood work and sent it to [redacted] in Brooklyn eventhough I've been going to this office for a couple of years and they are aware that I am not covered at that Lab only Quest Diagnostics. I contacted the office the day that I got a bill from Empire City Lab for $200.00 and the receptionist gave a fax number for their billing department and that they will take care of it. As of today's date I have sent 3 faxes since September **, 2014 and nothing has been done. I don't want to be sent to a Collection Agency for a payment I am not responsible for. I will really it if you can help me out with this issue.
