I have a savings account with this credit union because I purchased a vehicle through them in 2010-2011.My social security check is deposited every month to my account which is accessed by the credit union for my monthly car payment. I have been retired since [redacted].and every year I receive an annuity payout of [redacted] I just received a payout from my [redacted] annuity which I had deposited into my savings account with STCU Credit Union.I recently had my account compromised in which I informed STCU about this. They told me they would send a new debit card to me but would take 8-10 business days, but in the meantime would send me checks so I could access my money. I have been receiving conflicting stories on why I have not received my checks or my new debit card. I was told that the checks were shipped on the 13th of February,today I was told they were sent out on the 24th of February and my debit card was sent out on the 20th of February. I feel that I am being lied to and that they are not complying with rules and regulations. In the meantime,I am getting calls from my landlord and other debtors as to why they have not received any payments. The employees at STCU have cut me off from conversations as to where my checks and or debit card is. Its been 2 weeks since I initionally sent in these requests. I firmly believe that this practice is to hold my money for their own gains on making interest on my money while it sits in my account. I do not at this time have access to my funds leaving me with no money and bills mounting up. Can you please help me? I am at my wits end over my situation. Thank you. Mr [redacted] had moved from [redacted] to [redacted] Ma but the credit union had not received his change of address information. Once that was received we were able to order the debit card and checks as Mr [redacted] had requested. The credit union uses a third party for each of these products which, at times, may cause the products to take longer than expected to arrive. We made every attempt to provide Mr [redacted] access to his money after he became a victim of fraud including sending a bank check to him. Again, we apologize for any inconvenience or confusion the credit union caused Mr [redacted].
