Review: Steadfast Ventures and it's owner, Dusty C[redacted], originally bought and gutted the house we now own. It looked great from the onset. But once we moved in, we have had nothing but problems. The closet shelves fell down three days after closing. When I tried to contact Mr. C[redacted] and/or his agent, they both referred back to the contractor, [redacted]. I was put off for multiple days without a place to put/hang my clothes, all because the shelves were not mounted to the wall correctly. The gutters that were installed do not function properly - they hold stagnant water. Every threshold in the house has nails sticking up. Bowen Building systems claims that they cleaned the roof for Mr. C[redacted], yet they have failed to produce any type of product information. Many items on our home inspection list were not done - weatherstripping not installed on multiple doors, roof shingles not related properly, etc. Mr Carey cuts many corners in order to save a dollar. I do not want this to happen to other people who might buy another home from him. Please do not buy a home from Steadfast Ventures. Mr. C[redacted] does not stand behind his product or behind his word.Desired Settlement: Repair to gutters, repairs to threshold, credit towards new shelving.
