Hello,Customer was contacted on 6/25/2015 and customer returned our call on 6/26/2015 and agreed to a settlement of $100.00. Check #1545 was cut and sent to Ms. [redacted] on 6/26/2015. We see this complaint as being resolved.

Customer was contacted on 6/25/2015. Customer stated that the payment charged to his credit card for this complaint was disputed with his credit card company and he was refunded the full amount of the purchase. He states the complaint was satisfied and no further action will be taken.

A phone call was made to the customer on 6/25/2015. Customer stated that she received a replacement box of steaks about 1 month ago and that her complaint was satisfied. She denies seeking any further complaints.

Left 2 voicemails for the customer on 6/25/2015 and 6/29/2015 with no return call as of yet. We feel as the customer does not want any settlement or replacement as the customer would have called back at this point. We feel that this complaint should be closed.

Review: I paid with a check for the amount of forty dollars for steaks that I had purchased, someone had edited the amount to one hundred and forty dollars. I have contacted my bank and they are doing a fraud investigation. The reason I'm contacting you is to warn others this is not a reputable company and buyers should beware.Desired Settlement: I would like a response and an apology from the company.

Review: I was approached at my home on August 21, 2015 by a person claiming to represent SteakHouse Direct. He was selling packages of steaks door to door. I was told that I was purchasing 180 steaks for $599. I purchased the steaks with hesitation. I took the boxes into the house and checked the number of steaks and determined I had been sold only 108 steaks. I immediately called the salesman. The time elapsed was probably 10 minutes. He said that was not a problem he would return and pick up the steaks and refund our money. I had several text exchanges with him within the next hour all stating he would be there but he was having difficulty with his GPS. He did not return. On Monday I placed a call to Steak House Direct and voiced my complaint. They assured me that someone would get back to me. To this point I have not been contacted by the company. I feel that the the salesman misrepresented what he was selling. I was lied to in order to sell the merchandise. I do not wish to use the merchandise which I obtain thru deceit I question if they have a permit for door to door sales..Desired Settlement: Request that product picked up and credit card reimbursed

Review: I purchased a steak package on 11/29/2014 because they had a buy one package get one free deal. The total cost was $399, plus tax. Each package contained 6 boxes of different steaks. Each package was supposed to contain a box of fillets. After the salesman named [redacted] left my house, I proceeded to fill my freezer with the steaks. And found that one of the boxes of fillets was empty. [redacted] called me a few days later and said that he thought he may have inadvertently shorted me a box of fillets. I told him that was true and he said he would drop them off on Saturday, December 6th. I never received them that Saturday and I have been calling them weekly weekly to report the problem ever since. I have left several voice mails and I also talked to [redacted], who said that he was the route manager and that he would take care of it. [redacted] never took care of it. I have talked to [redacted] since then and he told me he had to talk to the owner. It is now February 18, 2015 and I still have not received my box of fillets.Desired Settlement: All I have ever asked for is the box of fillets that I paid for. It would be nice to get an extra box for my pain and suffering of having to call this company every week for the past 12 weeks.

Review: On 5-14-14 [redacted] came to my house and made me a deal that if I bought a case of steaks for $220 that I would get a second case for free the next day.He said he would bring the second case the next day because he needed to get his commission.I paid him cash and he gave me a receipt. He never showed up so I gave the company a call and [redacted]/manager/owner told me that his wife was put in the hospital and he would have me give him a call back the next day. After getting his cell # I contacted him and he apologized and said he would be over that Saturday or Monday and of course never came. I talked to [redacted] again and he said he would take care of it. [redacted] called me again and said if I call his work again or him that he knows where I live and called me a few vulgar names. I took it as a threat! I have tried to call [redacted] back and there is no answer because I was told they have caller ID and [redacted] has blocked me from his cell. This is a very bad company. I know for a fact that a case is $149.00 because I have bought from [redacted] before. I told him all I wanted is the free case I was owed or the difference of $70.00Desired Settlement: Case of Steaks or $70.00

Review: Hi, while I was away from the house, my fiance answered the door to a door to door salesman selling meat products. While I would not suggest doing this, my fiance was suckered into buying 2 boxes of steaks for $50. She said he was very persistent and wouldn't leave when asked too but proceeded to push for sales. She finally gave into what he was offering. 2 boxes of steaks for $50. After I got home she told me of the news, I deciding to look at their reviews and nothing good. Everyone had posted of having stomach issues resulting into diarrhea in which her and I are currently suffering. I was weary of using the meat after reading other reviews of stomach issues but I figured we are now $50 in the hole, we may as well try it. Sure enough my stomach was hurting by midnight when the food was consumed between 6-7pm. 12 hrs later my stomach still isn't right. Attempts to reach their store have gone unanswered with no call backs. I will be contacting the health department regarding this as well in hopes that they will be inspected to make sure they are selling what they say they are (beef steaks). I can only hope that more customers don't get suckered into the sales tactics of this company and lack of customer service when there is a problem. For anyone reading this (which it maybe too late) please don't buy from this company. Unfortunately if you are reading this, you are probably in the same situation I am. Any assistance that the Revdex.com can offer would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time. Unhappy customer.Desired Settlement: I would like this companies facilities to be inspected and their source of this meat. Surely for as many complaints as I have read about them, something can't be right somewhere. I would like a refund for my purchase. I wouldn't feel safe feeding these to my dog and would like a full refund for the purchase. I would really like this to be investigated further as bad meat products can result in serious or even fatal health issues. Thank you.

Review: Bought some product from steakhouse -- chicken has a weird bad smell to it- all I want them to do is honor their guarantee and replace it-- but all they seem to be doing is avoiding my calls and if they do say they will be here , no one shows up. They have done this twice now . Once on Dec.27th and Sat. Jan. 10thDesired Settlement: All I want them to do is say when they will be here -- and SHOW UP !! Honor your agreement !
