Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this
response because:I do NOT agree with the respsonse from the ownerI did NOT refuse to make the hour round trip, I was more then willing to drive hours one way to get my personal belongings back even with my truck being taken in the middle of the night without my knowledgeI was never asked for the keys to the truck , I was told by *** that my truck was unlocked when he picked it upWhen I asked for my personal belonging I was told " The truck was unlocked when we picked it up, I do NOT know what your neighbors are like"So I am not sure about why the locksmith would be involveed according to himHowever, I do know that my truck was locked when it was removed from my propertyI did not answer the door at 1:am when I heard a loud truck and knocking on windows near my front door, I live very rural and no police and did not feel comfortable opening or even looking out my windows to see who was in my driveway since no one family or personal called me prior and at that time of the evening was not acceptable to open my home to strangersWhen they left I looked out my windows and did not even realize my truck was gone until the next morning, I watched the truck go down the road from my house in the opposite direction of the highway and stop for roughly mintues on the side of the road, not knowing my truck was being towed behind itWould the surviellance cameras the owner is speaking of show the time my truck came onto his lot?? It is a hour drive from my home, and in the process my personal belongings were removed prior to pulling on his lot, the only people that would leave are the tow truck drivers who came to my home at 1:am on a Sunday
I do NOT understand the response of "we refused to tell her who "ratted her out" after months of looking for me. For the past months I have been in the same home, same job and anyone who has internet and a GPS can find me, the original creditor never sent a response or informed me of repsosessing the truck since the loan matured on October 2013, on April billed sent was for in late fees over the month term of the loan, there was no notification sent from anyone that they were looking for the truck, I would of gladly turned it over if legally acceptable. Can the owner provide some form of "looking for me that long" because not sure where that number let alone 1/years of looking for me come into the situation other then implying that I was "hiding" from this
The accurate statement is that the list grew with the phone calls because I did not expect or think I needed to have inventory of my personal belonging in my truck when I was unaware it was going to be repossesed, had I known I would have cleaned the truck out and handed over the keys-
I'm glad w/ an average of repos a day for years w/ complaints would be impressive for any business , I'm not aware what most people in the situation do, Ive heard cleaned out and waiting for them to pick it up, I was unaware and all my belongings where in my truck as if any other day week, month I have had the truck. I was told by the owner "sure and I bet the winning lottery ticket and laptop where in the truckBecause someone has a reposssesion doesnt make it alright for there personal belongings to be stolen and find it unacceptable taken in the manner it was (legally certain they had the right) but legally I have a right as well not to be stolen from
The list of belonging grew with the thought of what actually was in there and not being 100% sure because of the situation I have left alot more off the list that was actually in the truck for the fact I am not sure so will not claim that as stolen
and as you can see not the "typical" from what the owner said - winning lottery ticket and laptop, it was saddle, of my jackets*** *** winter jacket - *** ski jacket and pants, leather *** jacket, *** zip up hoodie,, queen size camping mattresses, horse blanket, medicine, iphone charger, random cds, the console was filled with change, but assumed that was stolen as well, pair of my boots, fishing pole
Even if the owner supplied a video survielance showing the truck coming on the lot hours after pistill doesnt make up for my personal belongings being stolen - I can live w/ the fact of treating me like I am "bad person" for a repo, but that is not his business and as a business owner dealing with people in situations no matter what it is do NOT deserve to be taken advantage of
I have contacted the attorney generals office as well and American Recovery who hired "stealth recovery" to reposes my truck
Regards,

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:

The attached repo paperwork is incorrect, My truck was repossessed by another company in August 2010, made the updated payments and picked my truck up from reposseions in September 2010. Stealth recovery in no way looking for me for 44 months. [redacted] the originally creditor can provide the correct information. As far as the rest of the rebuttal I can barely read the owners response however, one phone call to the original creditor will PROVE Stealth has NOT been looking for me for 44 months and was NOT the company that repoed it in August 2010.  Payments were made to [redacted] from September 2010 until October 2013 when the loan matured. I do not see how it is permitted for a company to come on your property at such an incovenient hour, steal your possesions then proceed to lie w/ response to the Revdex.com. If he was looking for 44 months to repo my truck then I'm not sure how or why the creditor took payments for my jeep for the next 3 years. questioning why I lock my personal property and making the assumption as a response to living rural and "why" is none of his business. Did I not pay the creditor the late fees they said I owed prior to the repo....YES Should they have repoed the truck....Yes....Did I deserve to have my personal property stolen from my truck. NO Does a business have the right to take advantage of there position to "assume" I'm lying about my property being stolen NO. According to him everyone states they have the winning "lottery ticket" and laptops in there vehicles at time of repo. In NO WAY am I claiming that I'm claiming personal item majority of people leave in there vehicles. Proffesionalism my not have to be a standard for a business like this however I do not feel it is fair the steps and actions that were taken by a company registered w/ the Revdex.com. I do not feel knocking on someone door at 1:30 am is acceptable, "legally" for a repo it may be, but I do not think a business should be allowed to steal belongings and have no consqueance for there actions.

On February 05 2014 [redacted] sent a bill stating my pay of amount on the truck was $3,154.36 and good unitl 2/14/2014 - on April 10 2014 I was sent a bill w/ the pay off being $2,572 - yet asked for the payment history and could not be supplied, Stealth Recover has NOT and WAS NOT looking for me for 44 months and in turn I am NOT the one lying about any part of this situation, Stealth recovery response keep proving who is the one lying and making every excuse as to why my property was stolen

[redacted] ###-###-#### - [redacted] Account # [redacted] can verify they have NOT been looking for my truck as Stealth recovery states and used a previous notice to help with deception being supplied to Revdex.com
Attached is [redacted] statement as well, the attachement from Stealth Recovery WAS NOT valid and deceptive to Revdex.com to make the situation seem to be accurate for them. [redacted] will clearly state that my truck was repoed in 2010 and all fees were paid and returned, I have no reason to tell lies unlike Stealth Recovery attaching FALSE documents from 2010 to make this go away by providing false information, none of the information Im supplying is inaccurate

Review: stealth recovery used intimidation, yelling, threats ,and caused me embarrassment after coming to my home to repossess a car for [redacted] group aka [redacted] title loans. At 11:30pm 5/28/14 I was startled by banging on my door. Two men were at the door asking for me and demanding my car key. I was never given a name,a paper or was even aware my car was going to be repossessed. I told the men not to touch my car, and refused my key. An augment occurred when I told to leave my car. He yelled about my contract, I was told to get my things out of the car, my boyfriend got in the car,as the yelling stirred the neighbors out, I threatened to call police which made the situation worst. He then stated that he was taking my car, and that once he has it hooked he owns the car. the other man then threatened to drag my boyfriend out of the car. It became such a disturbance I had to ask my neighbors not call the police ,it would have even been more embarrassing for me and my family. After the incident I learned the key was snatch away from his hand by one of the men. I contacted the company and was refused the names of the men that came for the car and was told by the creditor [redacted] they have nothing to do with what the repossession company does. I have also sought legal advice on this incident.Desired Settlement: I want my car returned without repossession or storage fees. I feel as through my car was unlawfully taken(breach of peace) and should not have to pay any storage or repossession fees.

Review: Repossessed my truck at 1:30 am and would NOT allow me to get personal belongings out of the LOCKED truck. Called to locate and claim my personal belonging, was hung up on, told to file a claim, told nothing was in my truck except paycheck, some cds when alot more personal belongings were in there. A man named [redacted] advised that my truck was empty and unlocked and asked maybe it was my neigbors who stole my stuff and advised that there are pictures taken to ensure my personal property is not stolen or lost. Asked for the pictures to no avail hung up on. I may not be able to pay for my truck and need the repossession, but I am still entitled to my belongingsDesired Settlement: Pictures of my truck during reposession to show my personal belonging or all my personal belonging returned. Or action against the tow truck driver, garage, whoever was in possession of my truck
