I am rejecting this response because Lexus of Austin did not address the real problem. Instead they offered ideas for cleaning the leather. Why would anyone want to spend $50,on a car, then have to clean it weekly for something they were told would not happen?The real question is why did Lexus of Austin make a statement in order to get me to sign a contract on a new lease?

I am rejecting this response because: Doing some research the condition has existed with this year Lexus and Camry for years and is not something that just happened in its 10th yearAdditionally mileage is a bit irrelevant as a dashboard preforms the same if sitting still or moving The problem is a result in defective materials used in manufacturing and was recognized by Lexus and the extension to cover this was made because of the wide spread problem and to avoid a class action lawsuitMy vehicle was properly serviced so there was no need to take it to Lexus in this interim I have ownedLexus certainly could have and should have contacted owners affected by this I contacted Lexus as soon as was made aware by a 3rd partyAs I stated in my orig complaint this has progressed from a cosmetic issue to a safety issue with the glare it is causing reflecting in the windshield and hampering eyesight viewI am sure the fact of calling weeks after their arbitrary cut off date would be of no concern if an accident were to happen because of this glare and turned over to an attorney and or jury trial If Lexus of Austin is not able to handle under their authority then I would like Lexus of Austin to take the case up themselves with Lexus to see that claim is made and the repair is done

[redacted] The denim ink transfer and removal is common on all types of leather... Many denim manufactures utilize waterless dyes in their clothes... Jeans you tube example attached. This does require some minor cleaning but can be cleaned.

even entertain an attempt to reconcile... Lexus of Austin is not like most car companies. Lexus of Austin has attempted to offer goodwill to Dr. [redacted] and are awaiting his response. Lexus of Austin has not offered repayment of any State ,County or City Taxes owed or fees charged by the Financial institution contractually during the lease. [redacted] contact Lexus at [redacted] to establish a complaint file with the vehicle now plus 11 years in age and more than 160,000 miles... It is unlikely that any manufacturer would offer this type of assistance... particularly since little service is recorded in National history. The record does show this Lexus has been serviced by the previous owner having an airbag recall preformed in March of 2016 about 3 months before Mr. [redacted] purchased the Lexus. However, if Mr. [redacted] is successful in receiving some sort of assistance or co-op support the repair is very labor part replacement intensive. Thank you,[redacted]

Good Morning, Mr. [redacted] please make a time that is convenient for you to visit our service drive we would like to inspect the finish and see if we can buff or polish the scratch, to minimize the scuffed surface. More than likely You or one of your family members the make ready...
department or the delivery specialist would have noticed at time of the walk around in the delivery room. You and your family picked up the car on Saturday July 30th mid day at approximately 1:30pm. You, family members and the delivery specialist went through and around the car during the this process. You returned to the dealership Monday the 3rd for additional information, from one of our tech specialist, no mention of scuff on second visit. Yesterday you stopped to speak with [redacted] about Bird droppings and the scratches on the bumper at time of delivery. [redacted] had the bird droppings removed and inspected the "rub" on the front bumper cover which is about the size of a ping-pong ball, it appears that the bumper was slightly scraped by the driver of your car or perhaps someone in a parking lot... happens very frequently In any event we will try to assist in making the bumper scuff better. I am rejecting this response because:We actually checked the pictures that we took earlier with iPhone, and found the scratches. Fortunately, the pictures are all automatically dated by iPhone to prove that the scratches existed earlier.And, the “bird dropping” may not be bird dropping, because we tried to clean with water and it didn’t work. It was eventually cleaned with some chemical spray.It would be great if there is any easy way to cover up or make the scratches invisible. However, I perfer not to discuss this matter with Mr. [redacted]. Last time we talked to him, He insisted there were absolutely nothing he could do, and he told me that he doesn’t care if people write bad online reviews, complain to local authority, or even law sue. And he even wished me good luck on whatever I am going to do about this issue.So, I’d really like to get a different contact person and the phone number to make an appointment.
