Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 10, 2015/12/03) */ I built this gentleman two cabinets for his bathroomHe claims he is a retired engineerThe whole time I worked on the units he made all the drawings and I measured myselfThose cabinets were done just like he wanted itHe is the type of person that is particularI wrote everything out and everything I was supposed to do on the contractHe gave me half downand he is doing most of the work himselfHe is probably in his late 60'sHe then shows up and says he was going to need everything from me because he was going to be finishing up with his endI wrote everything down with what he wanted and I had a funny feeling about this so I asked him to come over to the shop the day before I delivered to check everything out to be sure it fitsHe said sure, I am a retired engineerSo, he came over with all new sketches that matched the sketches he had given meHe looks at everything including the full extension drawer glides and ok'd everythingI went over and we installed the two cabinets and there were two other cabinets someone else made but he wanted new faces on themI got over there and his measurements were wrong and the holes were too bigHe blamed the contractor but I know the contractor and I knew it wasn't his mistakeThere were four cabinets total, and he referred to me as his "cabinet maker" and I told him he double checked, measured, checked everything I did and he ok'd it and then after I deliver you gave me a checkI got upset when he referred to me as his "cabinet maker who messed up his measurements" I did not mess up the measurementsFour to five weeks passed and I did not hear anything from him because some soft closing hinges he found at ***'s that he wantedI told him that's a huge job to change everything, and he would have to be chargedHe said he was going on vacation and we would talk againUnexpectedly he was sitting in my driveway and went to my shopHe got all my drawer glides and set them down and said I want money for the new drawer glides I ordered online and had another contractor put them inI have been in business for years and I tried to hold my temperHe got very smart and snotty and said he would give me a break and asked for $cash and said we would still be friendsI asked him to get the [redacted] out of my shopI told him you checked everything you ok'd everythingI asked him to get his so and so out of the shop and I grabbed the drawer glides and I set them on a cabinet and he picked them up and took them out of the shopThe drawer glides he bought online, I guesstimate, that he would have paid less than $a pair, and he had drawersThe main thing is he looked at everything, he ok'd it, and we bought him the pound drawer glides and this is what I installed because he checked them out and paid me for it and seemed to be happy with everything

The drawer glides he bought online, I guesstimate, that he would have paid less than $15 a pair, and he had 9 drawers. The main thing is he looked at everything, he ok'd it, and we bought him the 80 pound drawer glides and this is what I installed because he checked them out and paid me for it and seemed to be happy with everything.
