Stein Oil main office received incorrect informationregarding the claim and who removed the antenna The customerhas already been contacted and the claim has been turned over to insurancefor coverage

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: On June I asked [redacted] for the number for the owner to work with the owner to resolve this is*** Sometime around end of June early July I was able to finally reach [redacted] Stein, she told me that I would need to only speak to [redacted] about this matter OR take her to small claims court I called [redacted] back and he couldn't believe the CEO/ owner would handle business this way I told ***, at this point we would like to see how to get our damaged vehicle fixed and we are willing to go with out a rental car and replacement of a roof rack, we just need our damaged vehicle fixed at this point as I explained the more it rains ( which it was) the more damage is being done to our only family vehicle He understands and said he's willing to take this counter-offer back to *** This was around July 5th I spoke with ***He told me to wait until Thursday he'd call me back with an update I never heard from ***I started calling [redacted] again every other day since July 8th On July 14, I was able to reach ***, he answered my call and said he is no longer with the company as of the week prior He said I would need to call [redacted] and resolve the is [redacted] but he can't help me anymore I called the office at stein oil I believe I spoke with [redacted] who answered the phoneAs she screened my call, I explained to her what happened and I'm trying to resolve this is [redacted] and get our damaged vehicle repairedShe would put me on hold and come back, I explained to her that I wanted to resolve this without going to small claims court and she basically got rude and hung up on me At this point, there is nobody within the company to talk to me, the owner refuses to speak to me or make things rightI need advice as to what to do and where to go from here My husband and I are seeking repair of our damaged vehicle only at this point and were wanting to counter the quote stein oil offered at 50% (which included rental car, roof rack replacement and vehicle replacement) their offer was $1, The quote from kadels auto body total was $2,(repair of vehicle & roof rack) the rental car was extra $38/ day and quoted weeks of a rental car We are seeking repair of 100% vehicle onlyThis would be kadels quote $2,minus $roof rack which comes to $2,that we are seeking to get our vehicle fixed This is an increase of $counter from their previous offer Sincerely, [redacted]

The customer declined the initial offer made in good faith (the customer wants a counter offer, which is a rejection of the offer) The company has no responsibility to pay given the fact there are several clearly marked signs indicating that we are not responsible for after market parts (it is an after market part) The customers insurance company has contacted our company We see no reason to continue to belabor the issue on the Revdex.com website
