DONT NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THEM!!!!! They will NOT correct your issues, especially when dealing with them through American Home Shield. I have had a water heater LEAKING for over a month now, David was out at our home when it arrived and assessed the issue as needing to be replaced, even going as far as saying it's great cause the plumbing supply is right up the street so anything he needs he can go there! I talked to Dave even saying I'm changing all the water lines in the basement to PEX to make his job easier and said that would be great! He led my wife and I into believing he was an honest, caring plumber... After a week of not knowing what's going on with the confirmation of the warranty company, I decided to call and was told Steinberg plumbing says there is nothing wrong with it. WHAT?!!!! The tank is leaking, its 18 years old, it doesn't hold the hot water for long at all, the leads going in the tank are caving in, its rotted around the base due to leakage and David says there's nothing wrong with it?! I have been in the plumbing business for 20 years and can not IMAGINE doing this to a customer. This guy is VERY unprofessional in every way possible!!! This is why some companies fail and ones like the one I work for are very big. If your in need of a water heater or ANY other emergency service, look elsewhere! American Home Shield, shame on you for using Steinberg plumbing for emergency situations... This company is the WORST!!!
Review: Plumber installed a [redacted] sump pump in basement. He hooked it onto the hot water line when it should have been hooked up to the cold water line. The pump does not work and the sump pump now leaks everywhere leaving us with a mess. We called plumber several times to come back to fix our issue. He set up an appointment but never showed up. We have called him numerous times, but he never returns any of our calls. We had to pay for another plumber to come out and fix his mistakes.Desired Settlement: Refund of services and money for pump which we purchased through Steinberg plumbing.
