Stella E. OBUYUWANNA asked me to remove my comment about her. I told her without a $1,000;payment for my psin and suffering and financial loss in dealing with her that I could not help her.

I have forgiven this cheating landlord who lied to me. She did not disclose her true intentions. She wss acting nice like she wanted me to psy for 6 months to see we paid on time. My husband drove from his job every payday all the wsy to her house in Bowie MD to pay her in cash. She did not pay the mortgage. She used a young black family with 3 minor kids for her own financial gain. We were her bank and purse for 6 whole months she gpt $12,000. She refused to give us back our security deposit. Nos favors here. I eveñ contacted her commander at the Navy Yard. Seriously. Landlords should be honest. If she.had said 6 months only without her fake promises of extending our lease I would have gladly said hell no. She never paid my moving expenses and had the nerve to keep my security.

Review: On Monday, April 21, 2014, my landlord Stella Obayuwana sent her Uncle Frank *. E[redacted] to the rental home when I was home sick to retrieve a Notice that was taped to my front door from [redacted] Bank. I rented a home from Ms. Obayuwana on February 1, 2014 and moved out on August 29, 2014. She failed to disclose the fact that she had no intention of making her regular monthly payments on the property and went ahead and rented the home to me and my husband. We have three young school-aged children. She knew that I picked her home especially to keep my 13-year-old daughter in her school district. She told us that we could rent the house for 3 years while she was stationed at the [redacted] in Washington, D.C. She said that she wanted to start our lease off for 6 months to make sure that we could make our payments on time. My husband personally drove to her house every two weeks and paid her in $1,000 in cash. She e-mailed us receipts. We had to pay the movers $400 to move-in and then 7 months later had to pay another moving company $644.00 to move out. She kept talking to me the entire time regarding having problems with a loan modification. I believe that I am a victim of a rental scam and that Ms. Obayuwana is renting her property under false pretenses to unsuspecting consumers like me and my young family. Also, I would like for her to return my $1,000 security deposit immediately. When I asked her for the money, she acted as if she spent the money because she said she didn't have it. It should been placed in an escrow account earning interest. When I first rented the home, it was unsanitary. The water had been cut off and the toilets were disgusting. Apparently people were using the toilet and it could not flush its contents. I had to pay a housekeeper $200 and it took her two days to clean the house. If this landlord tries to take my security deposit, she needs to reimburse me the upfront cost I paid to have her house cleaned prior to occupacity.[redacted]Desired Settlement: I would like the landlord to immediately return my security deposit of $1,000. I would like her to pay for my relocation expenses of $644.00. It is unfair for a Naval Luietenant Commander to conduct business in a unlawful and fradulent manner. She contacted my supervisor at the [redacted], checked my credit and screen me thoroughly. She said that her friends told her that she must be crazy to rent to us because of our low credit score. I think she falsely led us.
