I am rejecting this response because: I paid the amount of $which is in black and white on the company's letterheadI should not have to be penalized because of an error on the offices partIt was not explained to me that it was a prorate it was just told to me to pay the difference of the amountThis error has set me back with my financial responsibilities severelyI understand that mistakes happen however I should not be penalized for itI was a tenant in good standing and was paying my rent on time if not early until this error
