I am rejecting this response because:
My mother, *** ***, was asked by myself, *** ***, to please look into and hire a cleaning crew to clean my home for which my mortgage broker agreed to pay for half and I agreed to pay for half .With having little time to look into a cleaning service, my mother kindly took on the taskFor this reason, as well as her own personal interactions and experience with Tia's company, she was the one who filed the claim.
The price Tia originally quoted had an ADDITIONAL square feet of space that needed cleaned but with the construction the house was under in the basement (which was contained to just the basement), that square footage was removed from needing addressed yet the price of the job was not adjusted to accommodate more than HALF the original cleaning areaI agree I accepted this due to the inconvenience I know that I caused due to cancelling the first job after finding out last minute that there was black mold in my home and it was unsafe for anyone to be thereI fully accept responsibility for agreeing to THOSE termsWhat I do not agree to is the following:
Accepting a sub-part job where the absolute minimum was done to get in and out of my home with the money you requested upfrontNot adequately cleaning the one full bathroom you WERE required to clean (dirt on floors, under radiators, soap sm on tile, mold around faucets, counter tops not cleaned...I have pictures to document as wellKitchen was not thoroughly cleaned- dust on front of counters, refrigerator not moved to be cleaned behind, dust underneath and between double oven, dust in and under baseboards, dust around windows.
In all other rooms: dust in and under baseboards and around windowsThe job was inspected during the process by my mother and within hours of completion, by meIf an adequate job had been done, even in the least, I would have let this goHowever, Tia's attitude towards my mother when she inquired about the results of the job, we're not only curt and rude but frankly inappropriate and disrespectful- telling her if she contacted her again regarding request for half the money back for an inadequate job done , she would file a harassment charge against herI paid for a job to be doneThere were accommodations that Tia made for me (moving a carpet and shutters, taking sets of curtains off curtain rods and taking some supplies off of counters in my kitchen) yet I as well made more than significant occomidations- paying her for more than half the square footage of the house in which she did not have to clean and paying her in full up front upon her demand, due to needing the job done, and done in a timely mannerWhat I will not accept is being taken advantage of by paying someone in full upfront for a job they clearly did not do to even an adequate standard
It is for these reasons that I (the recipient of the service, who paid you) and my mother ( who initially spoke with you and hired you) are requesting half the money paid for a job not sufficiently completed, be reimbursed.

I was originally  hired sometime in October to complete the move in clean. I was told by the mother that it needed to be cleaned by Friday and this was a Monday when she contacted me.  Of course I accommodated her.  I recieved less than 24 hour notice that they were cancelling the...

clean due to black mold in the basement per Loren. I ask them to give me at least a weeks notice when they called to reschedule. On Sunday, November 15th I was contacted by [redacted] and ask if we could have the house cleaned by that Thursday or Friday. I ask if it was the same as last time.  [redacted] responded with yes, it's a move in clean, that the house would be empty but we were to do nothing with the basement or 1 bathroom due to them being remodeled.   Once we got to the job site we did not have an empty house to clean.  In fact that kitchen counters were covered with things.  Which I have pictures of.   What was to be a move in clean turned into a construction clean up.   Walls were not finished, there was dust everywhere and spakle and paint all over the floors.  We had to use scrapping tools to remove these things from the floors.  The mother than showed up and continued to add things to our list.   She had us moving broken shutters and a huge roll of carpet.  She ask us to remove all curtains from every room & place them in trash bags.   We did all these things due to us now not cleaning the basement and 1 bathroom. As far as the bathroom not being cleaned.  Per Loren, and again I have a text from her telling me not to clean that bathroom due to it being under construction    But ask that we clean the shower.  There was no sink or toilet in this bathroom.   Walls & floors were ripped up.   We had over 12 hours in this job.  Most importantly we were not hired by the mother [redacted].   We were hired by [redacted] and paid by [redacted].  So not sure why [redacted] is placing the complaint.   Also, [redacted] mortgage broker, [redacted] was the one reimbursing [redacted] for the clean.  After the clean was done, [redacted] found out that [redacted] agreed to only pay $175 towards the clean. Which I did speak to [redacted] about this.  Convenientally now [redacted] is asking for 1/2 of the money back.   We did our job plus more.   Again we were hired to do a move in clean.  This was to be an empty house.  This house was not even close to being empty and it turned into a construction clean which I would charge more for.  But I did not.  I would have gladly went back to fix the issues she claimed we did not do but instead [redacted] simply wanted 1/2 the money returned to her.  But again she is not the person who paid me but yet she's asking for the money to be sent to her.   I'm not even sure the actual customer , [redacted] knows that the mother [redacted] put a complaint in.

Review: [redacted] of T J Cleaning Services came to clean my carpet on the morning of Tuesday, June 18th. When she finished I asked about the extreme wetness of the carpet and she said they would probably be dry the next morning and to spray them throughout the day with Febreze. She also told me to turn the air down so it was warmer and the carpets would dry quicker that way, I turned the A/C off completely. The next morning, Wednesday June 19th, the carpets were still soaking wet and a very strong musty smell was in the air. I opened all the windows and doors to see if that would help. By late afternoon the smell was more intense and the carpet had not dried at all. I called and left a message and she called me right back. I stated to her that the smell was so putrid and gave me a headache immediately, that I could not even be in the room, and she told me to spray the Febreze. I told her I had, but this was a musty smell like mildew. She told me that was usual and laughing [redacted] said she had done her carpets 3 weeks before and they were still wet and smelled, she stated that when they dried the smell would leave. I told her I was worried about that and not sure if I agreed and would like her to come and fix it. She told me if she came back to do them again it would only make the carpets more wet and prolong them drying and not to worry about it. [redacted] stated that she would not come back giving me the reason that it would make it worse. I had another cleaning company come in two days after that (3 days after they had been cleaned), Friday June 21 who extracted and cleaned them again. That afternoon they were dry. The smell was still extremely pungent in the air so the new company brought in a dehumidifier for 3 days to see if that would help from Monday June 24th, to Thursday June 27th. By Friday afternoon of June 28th the smell was back.Desired Settlement: The carpet has the ingrained smell of mildew and is a health hazard to myself and my dogs. The mildew cannot come out and therefore the carpet will have to be replaced. I expect T J Cleaning Services to replace the carpet because the smell was not here prior to her work on it and because when I asked her to come back she told me she would not do so.
