This message is in response to Mr [redacted] 's complaint of our work done to his home He contracted me in late August to repaint the exterior of his home, outbuilding, and power wash and re-stain two decksHe was happy and appreciative that I could fit the work in my schedule before winterHe said he was pleased with the work performed and paid in full after completionMr [redacted] then contacted me on 5/22/to inform me that some areas on the deck were peelingHe also admitted that he scuffed up the decktop over the winter by dragging the grill around before the paint had curedI then spoke to Mrs [redacted] the next day and said that I would return and recoat the decktop at no charge to them and that I would be there in the next week or twoMr [redacted] then left me an immediate voicemail that same evening that I felt was aggressive and hostile, informing me of when I WILL be there and that my timeframe was unacceptable and that he did not give a damn about my other jobsI did not respond to this voicemail, due to its unreasonable natureIn all, I feel A Cut Above Painting has made attempts to rectify the situation even though customer's discontent was not due to a flaw in material or application of materialI admit there were some tentative plans that were not met due to weather and other jobs, but at no time was this customer ignored or put off intentionallyThe customer's infuriation that I was unable to schedule his touin a timeframe acceptable to him was unfortunately due to a combination of weather and previous obligationsIn years I have never had a complaint and I always address any concerns about work completedI take pride in and responsibility for my work and will continue to do soI hope I have the opportunity to return to Mr [redacted] 's property and retouch the work to his satisfaction
