It appears the order was placed for the same item by two individuals in the same household on Thanksgiving After researching the issue on Mr [redacted] was contacted by our consumer service department and offered a complete refund on of the items, permitted to keep it, and provided a 25% discount code for his next purchase on our website.The consumer was completely satisfied, and the issue is considered to be resolved on behalf of the consumer Customer Service Manager

It appears the coupon code was unable to be applied as a result of a programming conflict with multiple email addresses associated
with this consumers profileThe consumer was successful applying the coupon code on their first order, however was unable to use the same coupon code for a second order associated with a different email address in our system for this consumer
On 3.24.16, we contacted the consumer, apologizing and explaining we will honor the code for the items identified for both her and husband, processing both orders We indicated this coupon code was a one time thank you for signing up via email, and requested the single email address she wishes to be associated with her profile for our company, to avoid any future conflicts associated with coupon redemption, correspondence or ability to order
Consumer was extremely happy we were able to resolve the issue for her

refund, based on the product no longer being needed. A refund was processed on 4.15.16 and should be reflected to the consumers bank account within 5 - 7 business days. The customer acknowledged this would be acceptable and the complaint upon their bank reflecting this credit will be resolved.

when communication broke down, our customer service department stepped in on behalf of the customer to resolve this issue. The replacement product shipped 8.17.15 with shipment tracking information delivered to the customer. The customer acknowledged receiving tracking information for replacement product and thanked us for the update, which resolved the concern, and stated she will withdraw all complaints from various services.

It did not resolve the complaint I asked if it was safe for more than one child it was made aware to me during the initial response from Customer Service that it is not meant for more than one child; even though the stock photo shows 5 children playing with it. There are still safety concerns with this product and I emailed back and to date have not received a response. Communication is lacking from Step 2 and while I have the replacement finally it should have never had to go this far in the first place. It does not matter if it is from a 3rd party your name Step 2 is on the product. I did not buy it from a various vendor I bought this product from Step 2 through Toys R Us and your not wanting to take responsibility for your products makes me doubt I will ever purchase another Step 2 item.
