Stephanie Cotta Photography Reviews (6)

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me Sincerely, [redacted] ***

I have sent multiple emails to this individual letting her know that her pictures are ready My interaction with [redacted] has alway been positive and sent another email to her today telling her that her pictures are ready for pick up I sent off for her pictures the moment they were paid for and have had them ready for pick up since May 17, All she needs to do is come pick them up Please close this case immediately I have reached out to this client again letting her know they are ready for pick up

The allegations in this complaint are completely untrue On 5/17/2016, this client booked a family session with a nonrefundable deposit of $(as stated clearly on my website) Before paying for the session, they received an email stating " [redacted] Please note there is a required minimum purchase of $with your family/child session Submitting the session fee for this session and attending your sessions enters you into a binding contract to meet this required minimum." They agreed to this and paid the session fee I was also emailed the day the session fee was paid and told "I understand the dollar minimum and I'm a stickler for style so I am fine with all of these standards!." In these initial emails, they were clearly told that "Gift prints begin at $and wall prints begin at $ Print and digital collections are available There is a minimum required purchase of $on all family and child sessions." The pricing was extremely clear to them In addition, pricing guides are provided upon request and my website lists that digital image collections begin at $ The session was schedule for 6/8/ On 6/7/2016, the wife emailed me and said "I hope you get this in timeMy husband is a police officer and something came up at the last minute with his jobCan we do the photos on this coming Monday?" I agreed and the session was scheduled for 06/27/ The gallery was provided to the client and the first email that I was received stating that "The photos look wonderful." A day later, they sent another email asking "Do you have any suggestions or accommodations you are able to present to make this more affordable for us?" As a business owner for over six years, I do not typically negotiate my pricing My pricing has been consistent with all of my clients and it is always provided to my clients I told them I would love to call them to chat about options Upon speaking with them that evening, I offered some options for them I told them I would take $off of my Digital Image Collection, just to resolve the situation for them In addition, I told them that if the main confusion they were now claiming was with the $minimum, they could just spend the $(and not hold up their end) I also offered to provide them my Basic Collection and add in two digital images (cost of $500) just to resolve the situation Upon another call that evening, the client (husband) began screaming at me, telling me that he was "disgusted" by this and saying malicious comments that degraded myself and my business His comments are untrue and in the six+ years I have been in business, I have never ONCE had a situation that claimed that I was not honest with my pricing or business practices The clients understood the pricing commitments, were given additional offers to help the situation and have absolutely no reason to react this way It is obvious the clients are more upset with the price that I charge which are clearly notated on my website and in the email communication The problem is not with my business practices

The allegations in this complaint are completely untrue.  On 5/17/2016, this client booked a family session with a nonrefundable deposit of $200 (as stated clearly on my website).  Before paying for the session, they received an email stating "** Please note there is a required minimum...

purchase of $400 with your family/child session.  Submitting the session fee for this session and attending your sessions enters you into a binding contract to meet this required minimum."  They agreed to this and paid the session fee.  I was also emailed the day the session fee was paid and told "I understand the 400 dollar minimum and I'm a stickler for style so I am fine with all of these standards!."   In these initial emails, they were clearly told that "Gift prints begin at $30 and wall prints begin at $90.  Print and digital collections are available.  There is a minimum required purchase of $400 on all family and child sessions."  The pricing was extremely clear to them.  In addition, pricing guides are provided upon request and my website lists that digital image collections begin at $650.  The session was schedule for 6/8/2016.  On 6/7/2016, the wife emailed me and said "I hope you get this in time.
