Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: As I stated earlier, I called into the dealership Spoke to Mike C, stated I needed a head-gasket, when he ask me why do I think that I explained a mechanic told me, my car is burning antifreeze, misfire, and car started over heating a weak ago, Russell took in my vehicle, I spoke with Russell, explained again what I needed head-gasket, the car is burning antifreeze, misfire, and the car just started over heating.Russell calls me back and said the car is not mixing so you do not need a head gasket, I told Russell I was told by a mechanic I do.my car was not leaking antifreeze it was burning antifreeze(no signs of leaks) Nissan stated may have shifted after the overheatingNO I needed a head-gasket when I originally had the car towed in and called spoke to Mike C and Russellwhen Russell stated my car is not mixing and I dont need a head-gasket hopefully he went through the proper channels and did the compression test, reason he said I did not need a HG.Now nissan want me to pay twice for there mis representationI told two Techs what I needed, my car was not only bought in for overheating, again I said burning antifreeze,misfire,overheating started recently.I don`t have hundred dollars to just give awayMike Gave me a price of I told russell its cheaper to just get the head gasket he stated again you don`t need a head-gasketIf he would have fixed what I told him I needed and I was still having the same problem then It we be on me because I was the one who said head-gasketfix my head gasket take the from my payment of hundred dollars Regards, [redacted] ***

As we stated in our original response to this claimWhen our technician looked at the vehicle he found a leaking radiatorWe had to replace the radiator before proceeding any furtherWe check for a head gasket but found no evidenceThat cost was $If we did find a head gasket issue that would have been a extra $on top of the radiator cost With that said we would be willing to split the cost of the head gasket with Ms [redacted] as a goodwill gesture to resolve this issue

Mr [redacted] purchased a SV Altima because he had to be in a certain price rangeAt no time did we tell him the SV comes with a [redacted] radioYou have to go up to a SL Altima to get a [redacted] radio which costs thousands more than the SV We do a walk around on every delivery with the customer to make sure there are no issues before the customer takes deliveryCustomer was fully aware that his vehicle did not have a [redacted] stereo before he took delivery Our sales manager Ed [redacted] explained this to Mr [redacted] We even offered to install a upgraded amplifier which costs around $at no charge to make Mr [redacted] happyHe seemed to be ok with that the last time he spoke to us At this point we believe the matter is settled Thank you

I am rejecting this response because, I do not trust CHERRY HILL NISSAN with my vehicle, I told them from the start I needed a head gasket, they said I do not, after 1,dollars paid to them for work they claimed was done to fix the problem, (some of the work I had done only months prior)Now they say they`ll fix the head-gasket for half price of 1053.00,once they have my vehicle they`ll say something else is needed in order to fix the head-gasket to add to the half price, (something that I originally told them I needed)They claim they fixed the radiator for I paid I would like to be reimbursed dollarsTo have my vehicle fixed correctly

I am rejecting this response because: I have to upgrade and pay additional out of pocket expenses because of Cherry Hill Nissan's incompetent salesman? Why is it difficult for Cherry Hill Nissan to accept the fact that their salesman is at fault, not the consumerHow many times do I have to say that I was never given the option to choose a vehicle with the upgraded audio package? Their salesman, AR, failed to inform me about the vehicle being *** only to play music from my *** phoneCherry Hill Nissan needs to give a better solution to this problem that was created by their employee.

Ms*** came in to our dealership for a over heating problem back in March. The vehicle was running hotOur technician found the radiator leaking badlyWe replaced the radiatorVehicle did not overheat for us after we replaced the radiator so we released the vehicle back to herIt is
quite possible that the head gasket could have shifted due to expansion from the original overheating
We are willing to work with Ms*** to try and get her vehicle repaired at reasonable costFirst we should schedule the vehicle to run a test to see if the head gasket is indeed the issueShe can contact me directly

Ms*** purchased a certified vehicle which is still under warrantyIf the vehicle has a defect it should be covered under that warrantyShe can make a appointment to have the noise concern addressedHer last visit we replaced two tires at no charge because they were a little choppyWe did
not hear any abnoises after they were replacedAgain if she still has a concern we would be more than happy address that issue
However her model vehicle is not equipped to handle the *** system only *** productsThis something we cannot address because the manufacturer does not offer any alternative for her mod

Unfortunately we cannot change the package that came with the vehicle she purchasedThe factory does not offer that in her model only in the upgraded modelHowever if Ms*** still wants to trade her vehicle in for the upgraded model that has the features she is looking for, she can contact our general sales manager Umberto V at *** x***He will help her find the vehicle that is right for her and let her know what the additional costs would be

to make sure there are no issues before the customer takes delivery. Customer was fully aware that his vehicle did not have a [redacted] stereo before he took delivery.
Our sales manager Ed [redacted] explained this to Mr. [redacted]. We even offered  to install a upgraded amplifier which costs around $300.00 at no charge to make Mr. [redacted] happy. He seemed to be ok with that the last time he spoke to us.
At this point we believe the matter is settled.

We again will state that when the vehicle came in and was inspected by our technician the radiator was leaking. There was no misdiagnosis on our part. We replaced the radiator and thermostat for a total of $872.93 total. Our goodwill offer to split the head gasket repair which would be a total price of $1372.93 for the head gasket and a new radiator is not unreasonable. That's only a few hundred more than the original quote and the vehicle has a new radiator which was needed.
This will be our final offer to settle this matter. . Thank you

I am rejecting this response because: If the car was preowned certified as they say, I would have been taking the car to get service almost a week after purchase and I would not have 2 get two new tires in November after purchasing the car in June. What does a warranty have to do with a vehicle being sold as preowned when it was not. I was sold a lemon. In addition, I was NEVER given the option to purchase a vehicle that supports [redacted] because of the incompetent Cherry Hill Nissan salesman. I would have never purchased a vehicle that would not benefit me. Instead of Cherry Hill Nissan saying I have to take a loss for their salesman incompetence, they should be trying to come up with a solution and not just sweep it under the rug. Incompetence of any form from Cherry Hill Nissan is unacceptable.

As we stated in our original response to this claim. When our technician looked at the vehicle he found a leaking radiator. We had to replace the radiator before proceeding any further. We check for a head gasket but found no evidence. That cost was $825.00. If we did find a head gasket issue that would have been a extra $1053.00 on top of the radiator cost.
With that said we would be willing to split the cost of the head gasket with Ms. [redacted] as a goodwill gesture to resolve this issue.

I am rejecting this response because:
When I first called Cherryhill Nissan, I spoke to M.C. explained I needed a Head Gasket, had vehicle towed in. Russell took in my car. Explained to Russell I need a head-gasket, he said car not mixing, you dont need head gasket.After Russell claimed he fixed the problem, I picked up my altima. I began to call Russell days later, still having misfire, burning antifreeze. I took the car back to Nissan service. He stated I needed ignition coil 4. I get the coil fixed, week later I began calling Russell again, after numerous attempts, left messages, and Russell will call you back,  I had planned to go there, (no returned calls from Russell) I call again receptionist states Russell no longer works their. Andrew ask me to bring the car in, 3rd time bringing the car (still under their 90 day guaranteed work warranty) to Nissan. I explain to Andrew my first two visits at Nissan. He says he was not there when Russell worked on my car, but without testing the vehicle he would say the head is gone, I said I told Russell and Mike C on my first visit I needed a Head Gasket, after he close his eyes and sigh, He points to Mike C. And says thats Mike, I said Mike didnt take the car in Russell said he take in tows, he said well I wasnt around, and Ill have a tech pull your car around, and you should try to get rid of the car before it gets worse. After speaking with 3 Nissan technicians, CherryHill Nissan Representative says as a goodwill gesture they are willing to pay half for the head-gasket, half for their tech error, misdiagnosis,misrepresentation, and work that was not warranted, I told Russell after he said  whats needed, I said I just had a valve cover gasket done, oil change, thermostat. I cant afford to pay a dealership for their employee mistake, I paid over 1600.00 dollars and began calling the dealersip days later after they claim they fixed my car. Goodwill gesture would be to do what I ask you to do from the very beginning,  and correct your ex employee error. This is so unfare CherryHill Nissan Dealership asking me to pay again, because their tech was wrong.
