Culver City, CA: Price Self Storage is abuse of power Massively overlooked my storage unit was being paid in full (monthly) I talked directly with the owner (private family owned business Christine M and her husband) about not being able to log into their storage website for online bill pay The monthly online bill pay situation was never resolved I talked to Christine Majors staff, Price had accepted money orders via mail, from myself yet continued not to resolve my issue of balance remaining not reflecting current payments I had been making via the mail I received my July invoice Only to receive a letter via "mail" Price Self Storage had auctioned off all my storage contents! Without any prior notification nor ability to resolve the invoice being botched and not reflecting current payment Close this facility down Unethical practices Non-english speaking staff Accounting skills (dept.) unwillingness to resolve problems with paying customers DO NOT STORE ANY CONTENTS WITH CHRISTINE M PRICE SELF STORAGE Culver City, CA Scandalous

When it came time to renew our lease for another month because we were unsure when we would be able to move into our new house, my wife went in and paid our bill in full on 21AUGof $ We found out a couple days after paying in full that we were able to move into our house, and when I went in to close out our storage unit on AUG 2016, the representative said we have to give at least days notice to get a pro-rated amount I then told him that I am giving him my days notice now so we could recoup some of our money, and he said once you pay in full, you aren't able to do thatI received the final receipt where it shows a non-refundable payment of $which they kept and re-rented the unit, meaning they charged two separate parties for the full cost of the storage unit when only one party had access to it
I also called two times to discuss this matter with them, and they said they would get back in touch with me, which they never did

I was told by an employee, that I could come get my belongings from my storage unit, When I arrived, the employee stated if I clean up the items on the pavement, Then I could get my items out of the unit I did my part and cleaned items from the pavement, however, the employee then denied me access to my items

The storage place is ridiculously incompetentOne of their workers gave me incorrect information and because of her actions, I was not able to retrieve my itemsThe supervisor was no help and this place does not care about their customer satisfaction

When I first started using this company they had a month free advertisement after my month was upThey raised rentI was having financial issues and I've been trying to contact them on how I could pay for my unit and still have access to my storageWell a couple weeks ago I was emailed basically stating my things were going to be up for auction October 6thIt is now the 5th of October and I've been calling leaving messages and emailing for about a month now to figure out if I can do a payment arrangement or something to prevent my things from going into auctionI have gotten the run around stating that they would talk to their "Regional Manager"Twice already and I still have yet to hear anythingThey won't respond to my phone calls or messages or emails.ive grown impatient and in fear of losing my things because they won't communicate.if my things go into auction I want compensation of everythingI've been communicating and I've been basically ignored and it isn't funny

Buyer beware, during the course of doing business with Price Storage in Santee for the last year, they raised the fees three times and was in the process of raising the fees a fourth time as I vacated the premisesOn two different occasions the facility confused me with another customer and sent me a nasty letter of delinquency after never once being late on my billUpon providing a verbal notice of my plan to vacate a month in advance, the facility apparently failed to record my advance notice so that when I went in on the 20th of the month to give my second notice that I'd be vacating the facility insisted that they would not prorate my bill for thirteen daysAlice, was extremely rude and obnoxious and I would never recommend this facility to any of my friends and familyObsolutly horrible experience and horrific customer service!!!

I closed my account with Price Self Storage on February 26, I gave a proper day notice to close the account on February 11, However I made the payment on our account until March 11,
I called the office today at ***The person who answered the phone told me that she is unable to give refunds even if I gave a proper notice and even if the account was clearly overpaid
Price Self Storage owes $from February 27-March 11, I would like to get this refund as soon as possible please

I was charged a late fee and I didnt even know that my payment did not process I set up automatic payments when I signed the lease, so I didnt have to worry about paying it every month The receptionist had called my phone and left a message twice, but she never mentioned the call was related to my paymentShe said its some sort of legal issue- they can't mention any specifics on a voicemailSeriously?! They could at least say something general, like- "This is just a reminder that your rent is due, and a late fee will be assessed if payment is not received within days after the due date" Or even just hint about payment at least (I figured if there was an issue they would say more than- "its important that we speak with you as soon as possibleIf you have any questions, please feel free to call us here at the office.." - Is it really important? or should I just "feel free" to call?)

I began renting a unit from PSS in March of After a year of renting with them, they charged me with numerous fees that I had paid because of late paymentOn April 11, I called to make a payment and they had charged me with fee's and explained they would be processing my unit for auction the next dayBecause I had never asked to have any fee's waived I asked this time to have them waived this once, or to delay auction processing as my rent was increasing monthly it seemed without any prior notice given nor had I had any customer service courtesy's thus farThey denied my request I called and emailed multiple times throughout the month and was told "We can only take your money, not discount your bill." I rented a 10xunit to store my car for three months with Price Self Storage on *** *** ***back in I still have the paperwork from proving I rented a 10xunit as well as paperwork proving I am still driving the same carI rented another 10xunit at the same location to store the same car but was shocked to find it did not fitThey charged me $anyway (non-refundable.) Because I couldn't get the money back I felt forced to upgrade to a 10xfor $+ $for insurance totaling $which I signed the paperwork forThey emailed me paperwork stating the price was $(which I didn’t sign.) Agent , Crystal, promised me that there would not be any rate change of increase until after months So, not until the 11th month would rates increase
I communicated via email to Kelly, PSS, Marketing Manager, about the price issue There were initial problems with the advertised rate Pss had emailed me a sale price and had failed to honor it
Kelly made that correction I emailed her o 7/6/17, about the rate notification Chrystal gave me verbally that the rate would not increase until after the 10th monthI reminded Kelly about this morning

I am asking for the verification via an Corrected invoice from Price self Storage verifying that they are not breaching our contract stipulating that the rate of $for Unit 2488, is going to be maintained through July 14, Please send the new invoice
