Customer told me her engine light came on and that Autozone told them it could be a gas cap, Autozone later informed Ms. [redacted] that she needed a purge valve canister and the part was [redacted] plus tax which I gladly offered to pay for. A few weeks...

later she contacted me stating codes came back. I told her that I would cover the diagnostic at my mechanic's shop. She never took the vehicle in to get diagnosed and continued driving it at her own will knowing her engine light was illuminated. Ms. [redacted] continued to text me at 7:00 AM on a Sunday threatening me and talking nasty to me. I never once ignored her nor did I leave her with no response, I was always very prompt and quick to respond to her calls and messages. The vehicle passed state emissions right away with no issues, I ordered the [redacted] part that she requested for the engine light even though the vehicle was purchased AS IS AS SHOWN. 6 weeks later she's having another problem, well i'm sorry but you refused to purchase an extended warranty and signed our AS IS form. I did, however, offer to have the mechanic that we deal with diagnose her engine light which I thought was very fair considering any other place would not have done that. The vehicle had 194,XXX miles when she purchased it. 6 weeks later for her to complain to the Revdex.com is just ridiculous. Ms. [redacted] has driven the vehicle for 6 weeks and now is filing a complaint. I was more than helpful and think Ms. [redacted] is just trying to take advantage of us at this point. I told her last week when she brought this to my attention to drop it off at the mechanic shop that we deal with for them to diagnose it, she never dropped it off and kept driving with the engine light on possibly causing further damage due to her negligence. I gave her the mechanic shop address and called her multiple times to see if she took it in, she never answered her phone calls and the mechanic shop informed me that Ms. [redacted] never took the vehicle in.

I was NOT given the option to take the vehicle to his mechanic until 10/7/17,the date address was provided and the name of his mechanic was offered on 10/8/17. " vehicle purchased 8/12/17 " He should have had his mechanic put the part in when he ordered it instead of having us pick it up and having it installed. He knew what the problem was and that the issue was more than a gas cap or the canister purge valve all along. I am upset that the light came on before we left the lot and we were Promised that he would take care of it. Once again, The Codes P0441, P0442 and P0455 came up the week after we put in a new gas cap ( few days after purchase). Then the Engine light came on again a week or so later so he purchased the part and had us pick it up. Once again, not offering to have his mechanic see it until 10/7/17. I would Have NEVER driven it off the lot if he wouldn't have said he would take care of it. The codes were the EXACT codes that came up from day one; hence the issue was Never fixed. IT has also came to my attention that a person who, we recommended also purchased a vehicle there a week after I purchased mine, he had the Engine light come on also. I can provide a name if necessary. It is OBVIOUS that this Car Lot, erases the codes so that engine lights go off and I am sure he hopes that they don't come on until after the Buyers( Suckers) leave the lot. I am sure that he was aware of the cost to replace the EVAP Leak Detection pump and decided to just clear the codes and hope for the best. MY Mistake for driving it off the lot, I should have just asked for my money back and gone somewhere else. That's what I get for trusting someone's word. The cost to have it diagnosed and replaced is [redacted] Ridiculous since he Knew what the issue was from the beginning.
