Business came and made a repair. They told me one thing and are not honoring what they told me.Business came and made a repair to my stove/oven. The repair guy told me when he was here that the heating element he installed (original one) was still working and might not work long because of a short that had occured. He said if he had to come back out to change it (I already had the part when he said this) that he would not charge me a service call, just labor. I spoke to a woman on the phone today and she denied my claim saying that they will not come fix it like their repair tech said. Desired SettlementCome and fix the oven and not charge a service call like they said they would and only charge the labor.Business Response We went out in November of 2014 customer has 30 days to call back not 10 months later if there is a problem

Item was not fixed and person at this location was very unprofessional. Mar 1st,2014 I took my whirlpool dishwasher to Stephenson's Appliance to get repaired. It had flashing lights on panel. They said they would look at it on Mar 3rd. They called me on Mar 4th saying it was the control board. They said it would be $115 for the part + $30 labor + tax. I said OK to fix it. He called me back and said the control board would be $150 not $115. I still ok to have fixed. He said the part would be in on Wed. They called and left a message on Thursday Mar 6th saying it was done and that if I brought $180 cash they wouldn't charge me tax. I picked up dishwasher on Mar 7th. I installed dishwasher and did not use it. The next morning it was flashing again. I called them back and told them what was happening to dishwasher. He said to bring it back in and they would try and fix it with no charge. I took it back on Mar 10th. He said he would look at it and would fix it for no charge. I called on Mar 12th to find out what was happening. They said they were still trying to figure it out. I asked if they had another dishwasher. He said he would have to look and call me back. I called on Mar 13th no answer. I call on Mar 17th no answer. I called again on Mar 20th to find out what was happening. They said they could not figure it out. I asked again if they had another dishwasher. He said he would have to look and call back. They called back on Mar 22nd but missed the call. I called back but no answer. I called back again on Mar 24th. He said he was still looking. He called me back on Mar 25th and said he had another dishwasher if I wanted to look at it. I went in on Mar 26th to pick up my dishwasher and get a refund I told him that because they couldn't fix it I wanted a refund and take my dishwasher back. He then proceeded to say that they tried everything and that they told me it couldn't be fixed. He said they put $300 into a $100 dishwasher. He then proceeded to show us the panel that they replaced. I then said I still want a refund. He said they would have to take out the new control panel. Which at this time he was getting angry. He then said that I would have to go to [redacted] to get my refund, but it would probably be a week because the person that does that was gone. He said I should charge you for the parts and labor because he put $500 into this $100 dishwasher. He said he would have to call the [redacted] office to let them about refund. At this time he was getting more upset and kept saying I should not refund my money because he was loosing his [redacted] on this and I was taking his company for a ride. I said to [redacted] with that I am getting a refund. He kept saying I told you twice it could not be fixed. I asked who was his manager or the owner, he said he was. He said I couldn't afford to buy [redacted] a new one. I told him don't tell me what I can afford to buy. I was getting upset with him so I walked out and called the [redacted] office. I then proceeded to tell them what was happening at the Jacksonville office. She was nice enough to say that she would give me $150 back but the labor I would have to talk to the owner about getting back. She said that the person at the Jacksonville office was not the owner or manager. She said the owner would be back on Apr 4th. I said I would come back then and talk to her. We went up to [redacted] to pick up my $150. She was very apologetic for what happened. We asked her if they were apart of the Revdex.com and she said she didn't know. There was a witness standing there the whole time this was happening inside the Jacksonville store. I did not raise my voice until he said I was taking advantage of the company. All I wanted was the dishwasher to be fixed. Desired SettlementI am asking for a refund of $30 for the labor. Which I would have been fine to let go if he wouldn't of gotten abusive and unruly. Business Response The 30.00 is a shop fee for looking at it, even if it isn't repaired the customer has to pay it. Sorry we couldn't fix it, but some things are just not worth fixing too many problems with unit.Consumer Response I understand about having a fee for checking out the dishwasher but when he accused me of taking advantage of the company and started cussing at me then he doesn't deserve anything. On top of it all he took my water line off the dishwasher and I had to buy a new one which was $21.00. He blamed me for something he couldn't do. He was the one that kept saying he was researching it and he couldn't figure it out yet but he would call me back. [redacted] and [redacted] both called me saying the same thing. [redacted] is the one who got mad because I decided not to buy a dishwasher from him. When I talked to the lady at the [redacted] store she said I don't know why he didn't call the head tech at the [redacted] office to help figure out what was wrong with the dishwasher. I didn't deserve the verbal abuse that [redacted] did. I was calm up until he said I took advantage of the company. I went there to get my dishwasher fixed, not to be verbally abused. If he couldn't fix it then that is fine but you don't need to attack a customer verbally. [redacted] is a liar he said he was the owner and he isn't. He lied about saying he told me twice it couldn't be fix. I deserve to have my $30 plus the $21 back because of his nasty attitude. Final Business Response We don't have any body named [redacted] working for us. She don't even own the dishwasher she is just a tenant the landlord should pay for another water line it probably needed to be changed any ways.
