Stepping Stone Pre & Grade

Review: On June **, 2013 I entered into a contract with Stepping Stone Pre & Grade. Upon intering into the contract I was required to pay a registration fee of $150 which would cover July *, through August **, 2013. There was no mention of any pre construction plans at that time. On July [redacted] when I went to pick my son up from daycare the facility advised me that they would be closed for business on July [redacted] and July [redacted] of 2013. While I did not expect them to be opened for business on July *, 2013, I was not prepared for the July *, 2013 closing and therefore had to find last minute care for my son at a time when most people are away on family/summer vacations. (this was a hugh inconvenience for me and I feel that I should have been told about the July [redacted] closing at the time of registration.On July **, 2013 when I went to pick up my son I was advised that the facility would be closed 1 week for construction. On July **, 2013 I received a call saying the construction will actually take 2 weeks. The next time I was severely inconvenienced was on August *, 2013 when I received a call from Stepping Stone Pre & Grade at 5:00pm that's when they informed me that they were closing there doors for the remainder of the summer to do rennovations. They gave me no pre notification and I feel that I should receive a full refund of my registration fee ($150) because they have breeched our contractual agreement of providing care from July [redacted] through August [redacted] of 2013. When I expressed my dissatisfaction to a young lady who's name I know, but because of stipulations of the Revdex.com complaint process I will not state it, when I requested my registration be refunded to me, she stated "When the wheather man say is going to be sunny outside and it actually rain, you don't call the television network to request a refund do you" At that point I was appauled and decided I would file a complaint with the Revdex.com so that I can be refunded my $150 registration feeDesired Settlement: At the time I registered my son for daycare, the registration fee was $150 and it was suppose to cover July through August 2013.I find It hard to believe that they didn't have this construction date pre planned and thus should not have taken my money ($150) and signed me into a contract. Therefore I am asking for a full refund of my registration fee of $150.
