3/29/We received this document (attached) regarding a complaint from a customer who received a broken product. We want to know which marketplace and online seller the customer bought the item so that we can addressed and forward his concern properly. The reason we are
requesting this information is that we do not sell on-line products directly but we do dropship items in-behalf of online resellers. Our advise is that if the customer is not satisfied with his purchase, he can return the unit to the on-line seller for refund or replacementIf the problem is not resolved, he can open a case to the marketplace where he bought the unitAll marketplace (such as ***, ***, *** etc.) decides cases reasonably. The other alternative is to open a chargeback case to his credit card provider (in case he used his credit card).Should you have further questions, please let us know
[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the response. If no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved]
Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: I am not paying for shipping back and a 15% restocking fee on an item you sent me that was broken. If I knew it was going to be broken I would not have bought it. Additionally, you sell on [redacted] and [redacted] does not allow you to charge for items that you sent out broken, regardless of what the seller changes their policy to say.
Review: I received a broken product. When I contacted them to return it they told me to pay for shipping and told me they were going to keep 15% on my money. I already bought a new one because I was having the alarm installed. They were rude and told me that they they didn't believe me.Desired Settlement: I want them to be reprimanded for their actions. They are taking advantage of their customers. I am not the one one this has happened too based off their feedback. They run a storefront and online store.
