*** Credit will not accept the funds to pay off the vehicle completelyThey sent our check backThey changed their policy
and will only accept checks from a *** dealershipTherefore we returned the monies to US Bank per Ms***'s request and cancelled the deal completelyWe did make a payment on behalf of Ms*** for the current month for her inconvenience which *** did accept and allowed her to drive the car for days for free

The "business" makes it sound like they are the "good" guys in this matterQuite the contraryThey knew what Ford's policies were regarding the purchase/buy-out of leased vehiclesFor almost two months, they kept telling my daughter and I that they were "working on it." We have since learned that *** *** *** has, in fact, actually been sued by Ford for their practicesYes, they did return the monies to ** *** 1-1/months after they received the monies from ** *** (earning interest on those monies)And, they only returned the monies AFTER our lawyer sent them and US Bank a number of letters threatening litigationAs far as the lease payment made on our behalf, in mid-April we were told by *** *** *** representatives to NOT make that final lease payment, that the purchase/buy-out would absorb that paymentIt was only after many phone calls and letters, that Lease End Services made that payment in mid-June (which was the May payment) to prevent our account from being reported to the credit bureausThis has been a two-month nightmare wrought with deception, statements and representationsIf our lawyer had not gotten involved, I doubt this matter would be resolved

There are no good or bad guys in this matterFord changed their policies which delayed the process of paying off FordsWe have since amended our procedures and are paying off Fords once again using this new procedureWe returned the monies to US Bank because Ms*** decided not to wait for the process to be fixed and wanted to cancel the dealWe would have returned the monies regardless of any attorney letterWe are sorry that the timing of Ms*** deal happened in the middle of a policy change with FordIt was just bad timingIn speaking with Ms***'s attorney, he said everything is fine and satisfactoryNothing was done to be deceitful, nor were there statements or representationsWe do apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused Ms***

I was informed by Ford that their policy for leased vehicle purchases has always been that the purchase must go through an authorized Ford dealershipThe only reason we decided "not to wait for the process to be fixed" was because this nightmare was two-months in the makingI was getting collection calls from Ford at both my home and my officeAll I was getting from the business was the royal run aroundI can only wonder how much interest the business made off of the monies paid by ** *** that sat in their bank account for 1-1/monthsThe perpetual response from the business was to "hang tight and be patient." Been there; done that ~~ but I would not continue to do so at the expense of my credit ratingThis business was extremely unprofessional in their dealings with me, as well as my attorneyI am thankful the mess if overBad timing? The only thing "bad" about this was accepting the solicited offer to assist us in closing out the lease of our Ford vehicleIf our attorney had not gotten involved, I am sure this matter would be ongoing

The account has been paid off. Our check cleared our bank and NMAC confirmed last week that the title was in route to us....

The only reason there may have been a delay was we had her name as Kimberly[redacted] and they had her name listed as Kimberly [redacted] which may have caused a delay on NMAC's part. However, everything is completed and no damage has been done. We apologize for any concern you may have had.
