The damage Mr [redacted] speaks of is 3mm by 5mm with less than 1mm impressionThis is a small "parking lot" dingThis damage did not even disturb the clear coat and is over 55cm away from where the paint is coming off the door and is completely irrelevant to this claim as there is no damage in the area in question besides the paint coming off the doorWhen first contacting Sterling Auto body in regarding this issue they stated that they still wanted to charge me a "refinishing fee" at that point, same response I received this time in Basically this response from the business is an attempt to divert responsibly for poor prep work and ill business practices

unfortunate situation he has. Our warranty covers material and workmanship. however new damage is not covered. He was informed of this twice in 2014 and 2015.
We informed him last year (XXXX) that "damage" is not a covered peril.
Insurance would cover this "damage" resulting in the corrosion he has.
