I am rejecting this response because:Sterling [redacted] never supplied a [redacted] for this vehicle. From the research I have done via the Internet and other dealership management, all sources state that a delaership must disclose a total loss vehicle in writing to the buyer. This was never done. Sterling Auto states in their previous response that they supply [redacted] in their vehicles however, this vehicle didn't have one. If Sterling [redacted] had run a [redacted] on this vehicle it wouldn't have been a surprise to John A[redacted] that [redacted] was listing the vehicle as a total loss when I informed him of this information. I notified him on July 25th at 12:11pm  and his response was, "Really. It has clean title..." (picture attached) If Sterling [redacted] had truly run a [redacted] for this vehicle which showed a total loss and if they saw the vehicle had a clean title, Sterling should've began looking into the issue when they ran their initial [redacted], as they state they do for all vehicles. I would think the conflicting information would have raised red flags for them if they are a dealership who uses ethical business practices and takes time to know their product. However, they turned a blind eye to this in hopes the buyer wouldn't find out until years down the road. If they knew their was conflicting information on this vehicle's status, they should've taken appropriate steps to straighten everything out prior to selling the truck. As a business they should've done their due diligence up front to know what they were buying from a previous owner to protect their future customers.Ultimately, if Sterling Auto would've provided me with the [redacted] on July 10th when the transaction was made, the [redacted] on that day would've shown the vehicle as a total loss and I wouldn't have made the deal. This also means I would not have the negative equity from the truck I traded in that day that they didn't give me full price for.The only reason Sterling Auto is fighting the [redacted] at this time is so they do not have to take ownership for Auto Fraud. If they would've provided the [redacted] to me upfront they would've taken the [redacted] for what it said. Hindsight is 20/20.The only time I was at Sterling Auto and raised my voice was when speaking with John A[redacted] on August 1st when he made it clear he didn't think this was a big issue and stated this was just going to be a "pissing match". I feel any individual who was sold a vehicle that isn't worth half of what they purchased it for would be upset.

In response to Mr. [redacted] complaint, we are very disappointed that he did not contact us with the issue. This could have been resolved if we had known there was a problem, but he never contacted us. Now that we have been informed of the issue, we have been in contact with the customer...

I am rejecting this response because: I didn't refuse the extended services Adam at the dealership told me that my loan wouldn't cover it so he wasn't going to offer it to me. The rest is true.
