Review: They offered a money back guarantee to get us to sign up and we fell for it. We should have known that this was a problem when the contract they sent out had wrong names, poor grammar and bad inaccurate information. Over the 8 months they had our business; they wanted all their money up front and failed to live up to their obligations for scheduled reviews. When meetings were scheduled they failed to show up and had us waiting on hold for 20+ minutes before we dropped. The managed to lose our personal credit docs to how knows where. We finally issued them a request for refund based on their guarantee only to find the sales person does not work for them any longer and that they felt they did a great job for us. After contacting the sales person on his personal number we found out that this was a scam to sell these contracts and they never had to pay anyone a refund, because they refused to refund people for failed services.Desired Settlement: We requested a for the amount of $2920.00 the amount paid.

Dear Revdex.com,

It is false allegations that bring me to having to respond to this complaint. I am responding to this allegation:

1) They offered a money back guarantee to get us to sign up and we fell for it.

2) We should have known that this was a problem when the contract they sent out had wrong names, poor grammar and bad inaccurate information.

3) Over the 8 months they had our business; they wanted all their money up front

a. and failed to live up to their obligations for scheduled reviews.

6) We finally issued them a request for refund based on their guarantee only to find the sales person does not work for them any longer and that they felt they did a great job for us.

7) After contacting the sales person on his personal number we found out that this was a scam to sell these contracts and they never had to pay anyone a refund, because they refused to refund people for failed services.

I have numbered the allegations and will respond to each line item for clarity.

1) I have attached the warranty page of our client agreement that clearly states the money back guarantee will be granted if we do not attain at minimum 25% improvement to our clients credit profile.

a. I have also attached exhibits labeled client summary that demonstrates the successful achievement of over 50% improvement, which is substantially greater success than our warranty guarantees.

2) I spoke with the Credit Consultant that sent out the Client Agreement to the [redacted]’s and he stated that he mis-spelled Katheryn’s name on the first client agreement sent, so he corrected the misspelling and resent it (Please note the typo in the complaint above (#5 – “The” should have been “They”)

a. Poor grammar? Bad, Inaccurate Info? They signed the Client Agreement and I was never informed of any issues in the numerous conversations I had with this client after they read through, signed the agreement and paid for services so addressing this now is seemingly an effort at defamation.

3) I have evidence of a payment arrangement being offered to the [redacted]’s as we have a standard company policy to work out payment arrangements with our clients. The [redacted]’s opted to pay in one payment which was received after we provided the following services:

a. Comprehensive audit of both Robb and Katheryn’s credit file (2+ hours)

b. Comprehensive credit consultation meeting (1.5 hours

c. Completion and sending of client agreement

d. Complete entry of all accounts under contract into our online system for 24/7 review by client and for our backend processing to take place

e. Completion of TAP strategy worksheet

i. Outlines specific action steps required by client to achieve the overall successful credit profile improvement through our consulting program

1. (a) Additionally, we have recorded over 59 notes and communications with this client including several missed appointments whereas Mr. [redacted] did not join the scheduled meeting and we followed up on these missed appointments without success because Mr. [redacted] did not respond.

2. There is 3 months of recorded efforts on our behalf just to connect with Mr. [redacted] and his lack of response.

3. There is a specific note in our system dated 5/15/2013 whereas payment terms were offered.

4) There was one occasion in which I was scheduled to have a phone consultation with Mr. [redacted] and I was held up inadvertently and was 15 minutes late for the meeting.

5) Mr. [redacted] claims we lost his documentation. This is not true. We have every email, every document, and every detail of his account on hand to reference at any time.

6) Though the Credit Consultant”, referred to as “sales person” by Mr. [redacted], is no longer with our firm, he is still a close business peer and we have good, open lines of communication. Our belief that we “did a great job” is evidenced by the attached summary of results.

7) This is a 100% false declaration by Mr. [redacted]. I spoke with Mr. [redacted]’s credit at consultant Dan McAllister and have a letter attached from Dan that refutes the lie written in the complaint against Dan and my firm. Dan has not spoken with Mr. [redacted] since July of 2013 and had only one email communication with him recently whereas Mr. [redacted] inquired as to Dan’s employment status with our firm and Dan replied he is now working elsewhere.

a. Note from Dan rec’d by email today in response to the written complaint of Mr. [redacted], specifically to line item #7 above:

Hi [redacted].

I have not spoken with Robb [redacted] since early July 2013. The Only communication we have had has been via email which was about 2 weeks ago when he inquired about my employment status with Sterling Capital Credit. At no point did I say anything about Sterling Capital Credit being a "scam" as reported in his complaint, nor did I ever state that we refuse to refund for failed services, again, as stated in the Revdex.com complaint. This allegation is 100% false and a bold untruth.

Ultimately, this client has been offered our continued support and consultation and strategies for success. We far surpassed the warranty as evidenced by the attached warranties page from our client agreement. We even withheld from processing payment on a fee that is due for services as it relates to our collection addendum (attached) in the amount of $250.00 just as a courtesy - even though we successfully deleted this account from his credit profile. All of his allegations are false with the exception of a misspelled name on the first client agreement sent out and a one time late arrival on my part for a scheduled phone conference (no travel expense, just him waiting for 15 minutes at his desk) - we apologized and rescheduled. He subsequently missed several follow up meetings and failed to respond to follow up requests to reschedule. Regardless, there was also substantial communication between the [redacted]'s and our team throughout his client experience. It is so unjust for his false allegations and quite frankly, bold faced lies, to cost me the time involved in responding, researching and documenting as evidence of performance to defend against his complaint - yet I am pleased to provide the substantial documentation that proves our companies performance to allow for your dismissal of his claim in order to keep a good rating with the Revdex.com.

If there is any additional information you require to dismiss this complaint please just reach out to me and I will provide it. I am so disappointed that a consumer is so easily able to attack - but fortunate that as a company we take such a diligent approach to the documentation and management of each and every client file. There is not a single allegation that he has made that I cannot disprove with evidence and substantial documentation. I care so much about providing excellent service and results for every client. The [redacted]'s benefited with the results of our efforts but apparently could not be made happy with the communication aspect of our service.
