Review: We had our above pool liner replaced Sterling Pools at the end of 2014 swim season, therefore, once the liner was replaced, the pool was closed. In July of this year we had Sterling Pool open the pool. Last week, July 4th, the pool started to rapidly lose water. By the following morning, the pool was completely empty. I called Sterling early the following morning and left a message. I then had to call again because no one returned my call. I spoke with [redacted] who infomed me that he was going to send someone out to inspect the pool. His worker inspected the pool and said that I had to call [redacted]. I made an attempt to call [redacted], but the woman whom answered the phone, left to get [redacted] only to return to let me know that he was unable to come to the phone at that time, but took my number and name for him to return my call. [redacted] did not call me back, therefore, I returned the call about 2PM. During our brief conversation, he told me that he was writing up a proposal that he would get to us by evening. After not hearing from him since our last conversation, my sister and I went to the store. We were given a proposal that he said was sent in the mail. Today we tried speaking with him to clarify a few things to get the pool fixed. I asked him if his fixing would cover looking to make sure there wasn't any other defect/tear/hole in the lining. He told us that his new proposal didn't include checking that. His proposal included what his guy told him about the one spot with the hole. I informed him that the sand eroded around the pool, so now he told me that someone else will have to come out to look at it again. My concern is that the liner will experience further damage because there isn't any water in the pool. I tried calling him back today by [redacted] that [redacted] was not in nor was there anyone to come out and check.Desired Settlement: I think the buisness should refund me the money that I spent to get the job done, because I had went into the shop prior to committing to have them do the job, and they had stated that the liner I had chosen was the strongest and was going to last a number of years. However, it was not installed properly, which means that the liner was not able to last as long as they promised. I had tried to contact them multiple times to get the situation resolved, and they only outcome from that was the owner trying to get me to pay for all new stuff, and this time would cost significantly more that when I had did it last year. Then after some questioning they refused to do the job and were very rude. In this case I think the only fair option is for them to refund me the cost that I payed for them to install the liner incorrectly.
