Sterling McCall Fort Bend Toyota Reviews (%countItem)

I would like to complain about the poor experience and constant lies.
On Saturday June I went to Fort bend Toyota looking for a used Tundra. They had 3 available at the time but 1 of them caught our attention because we were told it was a CPO. We decide to purchase that truck and proceed to complete the paper work which took several hours. While doing the financing paperwork, we were inform by the financial manager, that the truck was not a CPO as we were told. Dealer offer a small discount on the extended warranty in compensation, but still had to pay a lot More money to get it. By the time we were done it was passing 9PM, we still need it a couple of documents to finalize the transaction but I was told to take the truck and just come back Monday with the rest of the paperwork.

When I got in the truck, I notice the radio was off, but I didn't pay attention to it, next day I try to turn it on but it wasn't responding.

On Monday June 8th, I went to the dealership to take the missing paperwork in the morning and let the sales guy know about the radio, he told me to just drop off the car at the service department for them to fix it while I was doing the rest of the documents.

While I was still at the dealer, the service department called me and informed me that the truck required a new radio, and since the truck was just purchased it was going to take 45 days for the extended warranty to cover it or pay for the radio myself. I went back to the sales person and told him I wasn't going to purchase the truck in that condition, he spoke to his manager and told me he was going to get me a response later that day. About 2 hours later he told me they were going to put a new radio on the truck, and it was going to take 3 days. I agree and went back that afternoon to finalize the sale.
Thursday June 11th, I called the service department to find out the status of the truck, they said they didn't had the truck, so I called the sales guy. A couple of minutes later his manager called me back and question me about how the radio stopped working, then he told me it was going to take 45 days to get it fix. I told him that wasn't the agreement and he said there is nothing I could do because sale was finalized. He also told me I had to go get the truck and go take it back after the 45 days to get the radio.

I went back to the dealer but didn't accept to take the truck, just got my stuff out of the truck. I'm not taking possession of the truck and would like to back off out of the deal.

Additional to this issue I also had another problem with the financing manager who I specifically told to run my application thru Chase, because I was already pre-qualified with a low interest rate, but he forced the application thru Toyota at a higher rate. I understand that it was my fault for not verifying all the paperwork while signing.

At this point I'm requesting for the dealer to allow me to back out of the deal. This is the first time I attempted to buy a Toyota, but it is the last time I will put a feet in your dealerships.

The dealership is doing a bait and switch on the contracts
The tell you that you can sign up for toyota car plus and you think you are
Signing up for and paying the extra money for it but you end up signing a toyota extra care package instead.
The are using the changing the words of extra instead of a plus

We have singed documents showing the client was offered multiple products, including a maintenance plan, but client declined all products but for an extended warranty and Cal-tex resistall product, Client never opted for nor was he ever charged for an extended maintenance plan on both vehicles he purchased from us. We Have asked that client provide proof that he was ever charged for an extended maintenance plan but he has yet to do so. Again, multiple signed documents by client vastly contradicts his claim.

Regards,
I am not disagreeing that I signed it but they lied about it. I wanted the toyota care plus, they said it was toyota car plus but the wording is toyota care extra. They are willingly deceiving people with the words of plus and extra. Like I said , it is to late for me but others need to be warned. They also denied getting my windshield fixed when I brought it in at 20,000 miles with chips. They told me I wasn’t covered, now the cracks are to long to get covered. They are deceitful and using language in contracts that goes in their favor but not keep consumer informed.

Client was provided with copies of all product contracts with clear explanation of what he was getting. No words or products were ever changed during presentation nor on any final paperwork. Again, client is seeking to take advantage of a service they decline to pay for at time of purchase.

Regards,

The general manager was not at the table when deal was done so he is only speaking on what is on file which also washes his hands of the deal. The salesman did A bait and switch and now he says it did not happen that way. I am not taking advantage of anything. I paid for my oil change and I found my packet I understand that there is nothing I can do about because it is my word against his who was not there. When I brought my car in, I asked about the two chips in my windshield. Their reply was I did not have proof I bought the service plan for windshield. Now the chips have turned from chips to long cracks and can’t be fixed. Again paid for something they won’t cover. They wait until after warranty to address issues. Fraud Fraud. You tell me who is taking advantage of who

I purchased 2018 Ford Fusion Hybrid from Fort Bend Toyota March 12th 2019 (6 days ago).
I was called March 13th (next day) to bring it in for service.
My dear wife did on March 14th 2019 (next day) and waited until completed.
On March 18 2019 (6 days later), the vehicle would not start.
After much frustration, phone calls, time and scrambling, my wife and daughter returned the car late evening March 18th 2019.

I have decided that I want to VOID the SALE and do NOT plan to pickup the car.

On March 18th 2018, when we finally called an expert who jump started being a hybrid after finding out
that it can be jump started, he mentioned that it had already been jump started previously.
This can imply that you knew about it being a bad vehicle.
I believe you deceived me.

What is even more heartbreaking and disappointing is that you are a good company with good people like
*** Dunlap and *** which I thought with good hearts where I had no issues trusting you'll.
To me, It turns out I trust people too much who can take advantage of it and betray/backstab me in this manner.
To me, I did not think that your sales people like *** and *** would have it in them to do such a thing.
To me, this is the most damaging.
Apparently, I give people too much the benefit of a doubt that they would be good human beings.

I bought a truck that been wrecked I was told it had never had any damage I would like a full refond

Bad experience with services: apparently last time my car was serviced there to replace the oil and oil filter, technician over tightened the oil filter, so that when I went to replace oil 6 months later, technician could not open it and had to break it. Of course I ended up paying for this $100 after very generous discount of $30 from the dealership.

Worse Toyota Dealership in TEXAS! Stay away from here! The GM MARTIN *** is a complete disrespectful fool! I had to go to great extents to get this truck! Also Ryan *** is a terrible finance guy to deal with! He made some terrible remarks to us when trying to finance this truck! Right when we were leaving after papers were signed, trade in was accepted, 8000 dollar check was accepted, and all was well MARTIN *** came out and tried to cancel our deal! FOR EVERYONE HAVING ISSUES, DON'T CALL MARTIN ***, YOU WILL WASTE YOUR TIME! *** SHE WILL GET YOU ALL FIXED! Here is the direct email : ***. These people also owe me a set of wheel locks that they did not provide to me! They said I didn't pay for them but they told me all trucks were sold with them and also I didn't pay for window tint, but they did include that! I even told the Finance guy Ryan *** if I should write it down, but he told me not to! What a terrible dishonest company! Took me 10 days to get my truck from the day I bought it! As soon as I reported the ***, they called me in to get my truck! WORSE FIRST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE EVER! Reporting to Revdex.com for sure! Stay Away and Be Warned!

I will not coming back to this dealership anymore and not recommend any one to go to Fort Bend Toyota . This is a worst place to buy a vehicle. On 12/22/2017 I went to this place to get a car. We had agreed to on a price and then I went to pick my mother up to do the paperwork. Before I walked out the dealership, there were 2 gentlemen laughing at me and made a bet on me that I not coming back. One of them is Alex, the other I don't know his name. 45 minutes later, we were at Fort Bend Toyota dealership again. Alex seem really unhappy and said "I don't want to sale you the car". I think we lost his bet to the other gentleman and he did not sale us the car to waste our time.
