Review: We purchased a [redacted] 1000 wood pellet stove from Stermer Brother in 2010. We had minimal issues with the stove for 1-2 years. The stove began to give us major issues to include a number of costly repairs in 2012-2014. Current;y we have not been able to use the stove to provide any type of heat for our residence. Recently Stermer Brother's ordered a replacement part (which took about two months to order) and completed the replacement of the part and left us with a stove that is still NOT working properly. The stove has now become a permanent fixture in our living room and not supplying any type of heat (the main reason it was installed). Stermer Brothers was asked to contact "[redacted]" stoves and provide them with all documentation of the repairs and services they have completed since the stove was purchased and installed in 2010. There is no record of this being completed. Phone calls to the owner and operator of "Stermer Brothers" are not being returned timely.Desired Settlement: At this point it is clear that the stove is defective. Since we have a 5 year warranty on the stove (with 2 years remaining) I am asking for a new stove. If the warranty is null and void on the stove for whatever reason I am asking that Stermer Brothers continue to work on the stove to get it working so it can be functional and provide heat for our residence. Since this is clearly a defective stove I am asking that Stermer Brothers repay us the cost of all parts they have put into the stove since 2010. I am asking for a return phone call from the owner "Paul" himself and also proof that all info has been faxed to [redacted] Stoves.
