I had mini dental implants from Dr. Brown. The temporary dentures did not line up correctly. They had an over bite or what I would call buck teeth. I was assured by Dr. Brown that the final set of dentures (IFull upper) would be corrected after the gums had healed. During the time the temporay dentures were worn, the dentures started cracking and chipping. Dr. Brown once again assured me this was not an issue because the permanent dentures would be much harder and it would be impossible to crack, chip or grind them.

When the permanent dentures came in, the adjustment seemed to have been over corrected. The teeth now felt like an underbite. The Doctor and people in his office ground on the dentures and my real bottom teeth over the next couple of visits trying to make them fit better.

The dentures started breaking and chipping. Dr. Brown just kept saying he had never seen anyone grinding thier teeth as much as I was. I explained that I have never had a problem grinding my teeth until I was given a set of teeth that did not fit correctly. He seemed to avoid the facts and told his staff to make a night guard for me to sleep in. He said he would check to see if a stronger material was available to fix the problem. Everytime I came back in (3 times just to get the night guard.) they seemed to forget they had promised to look into the problem.

Finally the dentures had chipped so badly that I asked about replacing the three front teeth that showed so badly. He told me it woul be $300.

I decided to get a second opinion and was quoted $100. to replace the broken teeth. When I went in to have the teeth repaired, they said that it wouldn't do any good to replace them. They were never aligned correctly and they would just break again.

This is what I had been trying to tell Dr. Brown for monthes!!!
