Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Steve Fox Plumbing has not offered to resolve my complaintThus, in interest of time, I will not accept their response nor pursue further actionRest assured that I will no longer recommend Steve Fox Plumbing to my neighbors, friends, or family members [redacted] ***

I have had several conversations with this client who did not contact me until approximately weeks after we were at her home As I have explained to her several times, it is NEVER a problem to leave a removed item with the homeowner Had she asked the tech on site if she could have the piece of pipe removed he would have gladly given it to her Our company policy is to clean up after ourselves when finished with our work Therefore we remove all items and trash when we leave She did NOT ask the tech for the pipe removed and we removed it when we left We would literally need a warehouse the size of a stadium if we kept every little part and piece we remove from homes Since that is unreasonable it is our policy to recycle all materials removed from homes unless the items are left with the homeowner Pictures were taken of the work performed with a company cell phone and the homeowner was advised to let the office know if she wanted them emailed to her The office received no communication from her asking for the pictures until her first phone call to us approximately weeks after our service Considering we are a plumbing company, our techs work around water a LOT The phone that her pictures were taken with was destroyed by water a few days after the service at her home We replace phones on a regular basis due to water damage Its a fact of life in our business I have explained ALL of this to the homeowner several times via phone conversations She has never once complained about the price and has in fact stated to me that she has paid more for repairs on her water pipes in the past Our company policy has always been that homeowners have the right to any information or materials upon request Photos and pipe were not requested from us in a timely manner If the items were still available to me I would be more than happy to give them to her However I can not return items that no longer exist Ive apologized and explained all of this to her several times I believe this complaint to be a frivolous last ditch attempt to see if we are some how deceiving her The last sentence of her complaint confirms that she feels filing this with the Revdex.com will make these items magically appear The photos and pipe do not exist Filing complaints will not change that fact I dont feel I even need to address the pricing issue since it was not a concern for her before now She has had more than months to state she had an issue with the price at which point I would have dealt with the complaint and come to a reasonable solution for all involved If you have further questions or need clarification, please feel free to give me a call [redacted]

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
1. We have only had one conversation on the phone.
2. I did ask the plumber for the defective section of the water line immediately upon completion of work and was refused.
3. I did ask the plumber for the photos of the defective water line immediately upon completion of work and was refused.
4. There is no need to be so combative; it is unprofessional.
Very Respectfully,,
[redacted]

1.  I am not being combative.  I am stating facts.
2.  Materials would have been given to you immediately had you asked.  We never keep items when homeowner requests them.
3.  Photos would have been mailed the next day had they been requested.
4.  We had several conversations on the phone, not just one.

Filing a complaint will not magically make your photos or pipe appear.  They do not exist.  The photos were destroyed when the phone fell into water.  The pipe was recycled about 2 weeks after your service visit.  Bantering back and forth via email and this complaint will not change the facts, just as bantering back and forth on the phone did not change the facts.

Again, I apologize that I can not help you with the law suit against the builder of your home.  If I had the photos or pipe I would gladly give them to you.

I have had several conversations with this client who did not contact me until approximately 6 weeks after we were at her home.

As I have explained to her several times, it is NEVER a problem to leave a removed item with the homeowner.  Had she asked the tech on...

site if she could have the piece of pipe removed he would have gladly given it to her.  Our company policy is to clean up after ourselves when finished with our work.  Therefore we remove all items and trash when we leave.  She did NOT ask the tech for the pipe removed and we removed it when we left.  We would literally need a warehouse the size of a stadium if we kept every little part and piece we remove from homes.  Since that is unreasonable it is our policy to recycle all materials removed from homes unless the items are left with the homeowner.

Pictures were taken of the work performed with a company cell phone and the homeowner was advised to let the office know if she wanted them emailed to her.  The office received no communication from her asking for the pictures until her first phone call to us approximately 6 weeks after our service.  Considering we are a plumbing company, our techs work around water a LOT.  The phone that her pictures were taken with was destroyed by water a few days after the service at her home.  We replace phones on a regular basis due to water damage.  Its a fact of life in our business.

I have explained ALL of this to the homeowner several times via phone conversations.  She has never once complained about the price and has in fact stated to me that she has paid more for repairs on her water pipes in the past.  Our company policy has always been that homeowners have the right to any information or materials upon request.  Photos and pipe were not requested from us in a timely manner.  If the items were still available to me I would be more than happy to give them to her.  However I can not return items that no longer exist.  Ive apologized and explained all of this to her several times.

I believe this complaint to be a frivolous last ditch attempt to see if we are some how deceiving her.  The last sentence of her complaint confirms that she feels filing this with the Revdex.com will make these items magically appear.  The photos and pipe do not exist.  Filing complaints will not change that fact.  I dont feel I even need to address the pricing issue since it was not a concern for her before now.  She has had more than 6 months to state she had an issue with the price at which point I would have dealt with the complaint and come to a reasonable solution for all involved.

If you have further questions or need clarification, please feel free to give me a call.

Review: In the early evening of January 31 2014, an individual from Steve Fox Plumbing responded to my call for a repair to a

leak in one of my water lines. There was a tear in the line and it was leaking through the wall and down into

the foundation.

Although the line was repaired, the individual from Steve Fox refused to give me the damaged section of the water

line, which was approximately six to eight inches in length. He also took photos of the damage, and when I requested

the photos, he refused to provide them. He then charged me an exorbitant fee, which was approximately $450 for six to eight inches

of Polyurethane waterline replacement. When I called Steve Fox Plumbing at a later date to ask for the photos, I was told that

the repairman's camera had "fallen into water" and subsequently lost all data. It is imperative that I have the defective water

line and photos of the damage before repair.Desired Settlement: 1. Photos of water damage before repair

2. Defective piece of waterline.

3. Legible invoice itemizing the damages and charges

4. Written explanation of damages before repair

5. Full refund of charges excluding the cost of the small section of damaged waterline.
