We hired this company to do a major remodel on our home April of 2019. This company was paid in full $60,000.00 and never finished timber beams, sidewalks, crawl space under room addition, and the floors. I have been calling him for the past year to get this company to finish the work and he agrees to come, then never shows up, and now he is not answering his phone to us at all.

I am responding back to this complaint made by *** in regards to a job I completed for her last April 2019. First of all, no money was ever put down on this job up front when I started. I billed them at the end of each month that I was there for what materials were there, installed and also for my labor. I was never paid for anything in advance (materials included) and work that was not completed. She mentioned in her complaint that I never finished timber beams. That is false. I have a picture of it the day I completed it. The crawl space under the room addition is done “to code”. She also mentioned “and the floors”, which I did not have anything to do with the flooring or interior side of the house. The only work that I did inside the house was some insulation and priming walls. I did however, do several things on my own time time/money that I did not charge them for (and was not originally in the bid I gave them) because they were in such a time crunch to get moved in. The last we talked, she said that her dad was going to finish the sidewalk and “NO”, I never billed them for that or charged them for any concrete for the sidewalk at all since I did not do that. The *** actually owe me $500 for gutters due to picking out a special color that cost them more. I still have not received that. This job that I did for the *** is completely finished. The only thing that is not taken care of is what they owe me for the gutters and attic stairs. She stated they paid $60,000.00. All checks wrote to me total $57,400, which was lower then the quote given with the add-ons during the whole project.
