Negative stars……
I made an appointment to drop off my Tahoe for two minor things. Dropped my car off keys in the night dropbox on a Monday and for NINE days, got zero communication and they couldn’t find my car info as I called over and over and over. Every single phone call went to their “overflow call center“ and the operators were extremely nice but could not get in touch with the service department themselves. Promised return phone calls… Never received one. After three days, called the mainline and asked for a “person“ and got Danettas voicemail. Not sure who that is but I left a frustrated voicemail and still have not heard from her either. Had to go out of town and needed my car but found alternative transportation. NINE DAYS (14+ phone calls)later, I picked up my car and the two minor services were not done. The manager said they would call me when the parts came in. They are supposedly replacing the entire steering wheel for a small button malfunction on the back of it. 🤷‍♀️ Have yet to hear one phone call from them (before/during/after)! Severely unprofessional and disappointing. I actually had an appointment at the beginning. When you leave service, they always beg you for five star reviews and you always get the opportunity to leave that. Of course I have heard nothing about a review so I found this… smh….

Service department woes
To start with they want you to make an appointment for transmission diagnostics that is 2 weeks out. On top of that they want you to leave your vehicle sitting there for that time period of time because people make appointments and don't show up. So Stacie calls me to let me know all of this. I ask a few questions about the procedure she goes right n the defense and tells me there are other places go to. I was a little shocked. Ok So I call my service advisor Ray Whitlow and he tells me no go ahead and bring it down at 9am Thursday 6/3 and I will sneak it in to get diagnosed. That works for me! I take it in at 7am drop it off. Tell him go ahead and have the oil changed while its here ( never happened). He always says text me I don't answer phone calls often. Ok I text at 253pm for an update at 325pm I get back nothing still in line. I text back that I will get a ride home but will need something to drive the next day by noon if my truck isn't done. Ray texts back that they don't do courtesy cars anymore. I ask about a rental and he tells me that Agencies are out and GM doesn't do rentals until diagnostics is complete. ( Remember it should have been done at 9am) I had already reserved a vehicle for the next day with no problems at all. Several companies had vehicles available I just chose the best fit for me. I asked if it would be done first thing in the am since it was supposed to be done at 9am. He responded with Not sure. Sounds like a transmission issue and there are others in line for diagnostics. What? It was supposed to go in at 9am.The only reason I took it in that day was because Ray said he would sneak it in line. I text at 544pm on 6/3 I don't need special treatment just cant just leave it there sitting just need to know when I can get it diagnosed if that's 2 weeks then that's ok. Ray responded "Ill verify" at 6pm on 6/3. I text TY let me know asap at 742am on 6/4 . Ray responded "Thanks". 6/4 at 933am I text Is it still in line? Ray never responded to that message at all. Monday 6/7 I text Any update on my truck? no response so at 311pm I text ? Ray responded at 324pm saying that there is no word yet still in line waiting on word. On 3/8 I text at 847am Is it going to the back of the line behind existing appointments everyday? No response. I then started calling around to see if all dealers did this 2 week thing. Day Chevrolet said they were backed up and couldn,t get me in for awhile ( ok they were honest). I called Carl Black Chevy in Kennesaw they got me an appoint for Monday at 9am and will diagnose right then. So at 1219pm I text Ray and said get my truck ready I will pick up in a few minutes. He responded "K". I will never set foot on Steve Ratman Chevrolet again. Ray lied to me and ignored me to say I was frustrated is an understatement. I wouldn't recommend Steve Rayman to anyone who wants customer service let alone good customer service. They simply don't care whether you come here or not. You would think that they would be trying to get customers to get service done with the car shortages but nope. BTW Ray never once apologized for any of this.
